I think one of the neatest things about the green demon challenge and the supercut in particular is that, since the whole challenge was such a long endeavor, you can actually see Simple's weight loss over the course of the video. Great job, dad!

I re-watch this series again and the moment he realized the penguin warp off the slide. His emotion change from hopefully to suprise to pure angry amd frustration

2:14:00 This part is inspiring, how Simple says to himself "we got this", then closes his eyes, thinks of the movement and executes it perfectly... much like an Olympic athlete, and i like what he says in the end "If you're not subscribed yet, idk what i can do for you" and then does a video were he takes almost 14 hours to get 1 star in a TAS like stage... i'm not saying that he needs to do harder and longer stuff, i'm just pointing out how he cares about completing a challenge and that he not only does it for self satisfaction but for the show, he knows what the people want to see and doesn't want to dissapoint, and i really respect that comitment.

The Green Demon series really is a cinematic masterpiece. The highest of highs, the lowest of lows, and the clutchest of clutches. I think it will serve as a testament to Simple's sheer force of will and determination to overcome in the face of any challenge.

having personally watch all of the failed attempts, all the being beaten down by that floating purple asshole, the moments when you triumphed were so much sweeter for that exact reason. This was amazing to watch Simple. Two big series' come to an end and I'm so honored to have gotten to be a part of both journeys
Thinking back to all that Simple has accomplished in this series, it's amazing, and if he can do that, I KNOW he can get S rank in Walkies someday

Having all of the Green Demon videos in one place is such a nice thing to have, the Green Demon series was incredibly entertaining, and now I can play this in the background if I need something to listen to while doing any tasks, or just want some sort of background noise

At first I thought that this video would only be a simple sum up of the green demon series, but the muting of off-topic commentary is another clear example of how dedicated and passionate the work of the SimpleFlips team is. Even after rewatching the series last week, and sitting through and witnessing all the raw final attempts..
I still highly recommend newer viewers check out the original series. The struggle and the grind is what makes all 120 stars a joy to witness. It's actual SM64 perfection.

So I never really have the time to watch Simple's streams, but I watch everything that's ever put out on TH-cam.
I need to point out how much I really, really appreciate the editing. There's no way I'd ever get to experience all of this gameplay without the *fantastic* work that the editors do, and I get to appreciate that shit almost every day. I've never said anything about it, but the amount of work that went into making this one happen made me have to say it

I used to watch this series as they came out, and when you had your hiatuses in between the later levels, I was thinking that I really couldn’t have blamed you if you had just given up entirely. There were SO many stars that I absolutely would’ve thrown in the towel on, even if I had your level of skill (which I don’t lol).
It seems to me that a good deal of this was endurance, and you absolutely won!!

As a kid, when I played Mario 64 DS, I had no idea how to get to the wall jump area in Cool Cool Mountain the intended way. I think the first time I actually saw it was when I fell off the stage and died.
Every time I played that star, I would use Luigi and his slow, spinning fall to just get there by falling off the stage.
as great as this is, i was kinda expecting it to be a supercut of all the funniest bits from the series rather than all the successful attempts
The Green Demon Challenge is why I subbed to this dang channel.
