I love everything about this video, the hair, the makeup, the soundtrack, the editing. You go girl!! I am Nigerian as well, and also have braidlocs ( 2 years now) that i interlock and maintain myself. The FREEDOM of locs though!!! This video made me want to go get an undercut and color my hair but i'm too scared of color damage.

I think the trick with coloring locs is to do it in stages- don't expect to go from black hair to blonde in a week and not experience significant damage. I started coloring my hair from black to dark brown, then brown, then light brown, and finally I bleached it last September. And I only needed to keep the bleach on for 20 minutes to achieve this color and my locs were acting strange for the first two weeks after bleaching, but now they are doing better than before the bleach!

you can try wrapping the front hair under the bun a few times and then using the leftover strands to make the bang!
