Genuine question, absolutely not hating: why did you go for a hybrid turbo to be at 330? What sort of revs does it start to come in at? I ask as my stock turbo’s doing 330, wondered if it’s for low rev gain?
The guys who mapped it said that 330BHP was the safe limit really for the internals plus without upgrading the stock clutch. I'm sure the turbo has the ability to pump out more power but I was happy with the safe map.
I honestly have no idea where the countryside part was shot 😅 must be near London. The Downpipe was a great addition to the car - this video doesn’t do the sound justice..
Love it! Have you any idea how much better the 0-60 is over STD (which is 5.9 seconds)? If you have tried driving it like a granny (to see what the best MPG is), how does this compare with when it was STD?
I've sold the car now and have a Mitsubishi Evo X.. ha so fuel consumption isn't great now. But with the Audi after tuning it was returning about 40+ mpg and was actually about 5mpg more efficient after tuning. The 0-60 time would have probably been low 5's.
Next car get a 335d .... I've got a e92 with a standard map .... its at 350hp with 550 ft pound of torque .... absolute beast and to get it there its cost me about 500 quid lol
You can safely push 320+ on a stock turbo I have an Audi A7 3.0tdi v6 245hp hybrid turbo maximum u can get is 400 that’s my goal to hit that 400bhp mark safely

Yeah it had a Darkside developments 3" racing downpipe fitted, so no dpf. All in cost for everything was ~£2k.

Good figures! An EVO X eh? Which one? I have owned two EVOs (VII FQ-300 with around 360BHP & a IX FQ-360 with around 400BHP) - both amazing cars! :-)
I clocked solid 4.9-5.1 after dpf delete and tune.
@MGazT Only engine mods yes, later I did straight pipe exhaust and did 4.8sec 0-100. New tyres and wheels where added.

It was a few years ago but it was about £2-3k for everything including fitting and remap.
What turbo are you using please
Only 330 with hybrid turbo? Stock turbo can go up to 300 so hybrid with exhaust and ic should see 350 minimum
Stock turbos safe up to ~270hp.. I never had the car dyno’ed so it might have been more than 330 but better to say realistic than higher.
@@tezsyme9307 So this car is biturbo model? They had quite a few different engines for this chassis I think 4 versions of the engines.
You can get 330bhp / 750nm from a stock car with a tuner that knows what they are doing.
