Newbie collector here. Yes, bought a proof coin online from a well known coin dealer. Modern and not expensive enough to be pictured. Plenty of other coins have descriptions like holed, plugged etc. No mention on this one of anything wrong, described FDC. Coin turns up, it has a spot of verdigris on the edge and line of spare metal from a die flaw across the obverse. I paid full price for that one... Have also read reviews that he likes to send out replacements of pictured coins when there is a stock issue, without contacting the buyer first. Never spending money with that dealer again.
