The winged emblem that Yuri gives to Shibisu is the symbol of Wolhaiksong, the organization that controls the 77th floor and co-founded by Urek. Also another thing in this episode that I wasn't sure if they were going to keep it from the manhwa is the cut on Urek's face. SIU, the author, stated that it was probably his biggest mistake in the series, saying he sacrificed the integrity of the story for a very cool moment. At this point in time the difference between Bam and Urek is so vast they are akin to different life forms, Urek could let Bam hit him 24/7 without using shinsoo to defend himself and still be immune to any damage.

16:19 you didn't misread that was what actually happened there, Ha Jinsung, the teacher, was the one that actually changed his mind and decided to keep them because he doesn't want to make viole sad and that's is why Karaka doesn't thrust him right now.
For about six hours the title of the episode and the English sub was for episode 8. That’s the reason for the massive dislikes.
I'm so happy you waited a bit before recording the reaction. Crunchyroll completed dropped the ball in this episode and accidentally implemented the subtitles for episode 8, confusing and lightly spoiling anime onlies, and apparently, it took Crunchyroll about 3 hours to finally notice and fix it.
Aside from that, this episode was solid. There were a few really cool action shots Mazino does in the fight against the rankers that the anime changed or didn't animate, which disappointed me, but the pacing and directing was overall good once again. We are now entering the Hand of Arlen arc, which is the last arc before the workshop, as well as the last portion of this anime cour. Fans usually ignore the Hand of Arlen arc because it takes place right before the iconic Workshop arc. I think it is severely underrated, and ALOT of spicy things go down in this arc. Can't wait to see your reaction!

By the way, Opera is thr strongest type of lighthouse in the tower. There are only 3 copies of it and it takes that to stop Urek for even 0.1 second. Repellista has one (It's the big ass lighthouse we saw in S2 chapter 1). Though it has another unique function besides its fighting power.
I always Assumed that "The Administrator is watching" part is due to Jinsung and Karaka both being high rankers were in a regular residence area.
There are some places in the tower that are for regulars only. Partly to protect them from rankers. To is this residential area either rankers have limitations on their power for permission to enter or they slipped in, which cause the attention of the Administrator.
Just some little world building that I love seeing in this story

about the anime spoiler.. the anime s1 said urek mazino is irregular in episode 5 (20th min) and the manwha said urek mazino is irregular from the first chapters... so dont worry if pepole dont remember its only since its been years since season 1.

Great reaction though. Good job noticing the ring. Don’t know why but the anime chose not to show it in detail. In the Manwha version of this scene, the ring is identical to another red ring you know of.
Make no mistake, Mazino could wipe them from existence 1000x over with a finger. He was just toying with the regulars.

You may have forgot but yuri went to get help from her sister in the first episode looking for bam. That sister said she’ll help yuri in exchange for the zygaena flower. But yuri pushed that task onto urek instead 🤣
This episode was on par with episode 5 it was really good and just building up the next arc! The dislikes was just because of crunchy roll screw up again 😭🤣
The dislikes are because they had the next episodes subtitles over this episode. So basically everyone watched this episode while being spoiled through subtitles for next week. They didnt get it fixed for hours so everyone was angry over the lack of attention to a product they are paying for.
5:15 FYI when he says “you’ll need an Opera to stop me…” he’s referring to an Opera Lighthouse. They’re basically super rare custom lighthouses. There are only 3 of them in the tower and they’re crazy powerful. (We actually see one of them in 2x1, in the pink haired princess’s room.) Basically dude is being like “yea no lighthouse in the tower can stop me lmao”
Oh this is also never explained but Guide (as mentioned at 18:50) is technically an additional position. (Like Wave Controller, Spear Bearer, etc.) They’re basically human GPS systems and are super rare. Evan (the little grey-haired dude hanging out with Yuri in season 1) is also a Guide.

Season 1 honestly just didn't care about adapting the source material properly. There's a lot of not only cut content, but out right changes that exist for no reason other than to be different. Season 2 for all it's faults at least tries it's best to adapt the material as accurately as it can while being limited by the episode length. So if anything was cut from season 1 - that was mostly just because the writers didn't care. Season 2 cuts are usually a lot more understandable of "yeah, I guess I can see why they skipped this if they had to skip something"
I have a feeling that it was Repellista Jahad who spread the news about the Zygaena's incident on the 21st Floor.
Karaka was talking about the administrator watching over them means the floor administrator or floor guardian was watching over karaka and ha jin sung. Because they both are high rankers. Rankers cannot meet regular's or the regular's test area that against the rules
If you want to see an extended version of this fight, there is an animation made to promote one of the tog games that extends the fight a bit and it also has good animation
why would he watch a filler fight completely different from the webtoon
@_Em_Branco because the anime itself is also different from the webtoon? Case in point, Bam healing up in Zygaena with a red skeleton?
@@spccew9818 actually no, after they run to Baam the webtoon cut it and that is it, outside of the lobster appearing this """fight""" was basically 1:1 on the webtoon panels.

Yeah, the fight itself was pretty much 1:1, but again, the Skeleton heal was completely out of nowhere.
Another thing I wish they would do in the anime is explain certain words with a side note somewhere like the webtoon did. Mazino mentions the Opera, but anime only fans have no clue what that is until one of us tells them. That can lead to people being misled over Mazino's strength too.
All in all, I'm just severely disappointed with season 2.

Rank are determine by the things a ranker has achieved and done it's not just straight up pure power ranking.
The RED RING OF KARAKA also have the symbol of ZAHARD. Indicating he's related to WANGNAN. In the webtoon/manhwa, we saw the enlarged panels of THE RED RING. Webtoon gave it so much focus.
We have no idea why the anime did not give focus or highlight on the ring.

The anime studio clearly doesn't care about TOG with the amount of mistakes were made and cut contents that will never be brought up again..... Even Jinsung teaching Baam his skill and saying the famous legendary quote "I will show you how to become a God", Jinsung's girlfriend, etc., etc., were all cut just because they are rushing TOG.
@@mofubunsart people who watch the anime will never get the answer or understand hints because it were all cut. Then when future episodes brought some of it out (reference to the cut contents), anime-only people will be super confused since it were all skipped. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ohh and did you know that there is a better animated version of BAAM VS UREK ??? Better than whatever this anime had given to us. So the animation I'm referring to is from TOG game: Great Journey.

It's not better, it's inaccurate. It makes it look like Baam has even a shadow of a chance in that "fight," which he doesn't.
What is there to animate? The reality is - even if it was one of the 3 rankers we see on top of Zygena fought there the fight would go the exact same. Any ranker can one shot everyone present. And we are talking about Urek who doesn't believe it's a fair fight unless there's a thousand rankers against him. Bam can not take a single hit from Urek - no matter how much the latter is holding back nor how much Bam tires
Eh, that's a turn off for the anime from me. In the webtoon, there isn't a red skeleton deal that pops out and heals Bam.
I've tried to just deal with the animation change and carry on, but if they start changing source material like this, I'll just drop it and stick to the webtoon.
@@spccew9818 tbh this isn’t a bad change. Literally in the manwha the presence of the “skeleton” was weird since bam healed like that once and never again heal like that- making manwha readers wonder what that power was all about when it was just the thorn. So I like they’re putting more emphasis on it instead of it being a one off thing that happen in episode 1.
Out of every change to happen i believe it was the only one i approved of. ToG has a bad habit of one time abilities that are never seen again. Its actually better we see it once or twice more till he obtains "that"

Frankly, while it was weird, I'm glad they put it because the next Arc which focus a bit more on this subject. So, it would be easier for anime only to pick up.
