My observations: drone is possibly the DJI Avata FPV drone. That means the pilot was flying looking in a headset and was seeing what the drone was seeing, the walkthrough for the pilot must have been intense, as they would have to know their path before taking off. Also, drones do not record sound. Otherwise the sound of the props would overwhelm anything, so I'm guessing every sound was done in post. Like a TV show or movie, any sound they wanted needed to be recorded separately and edited in. I also think the video was sped up in post a bit, meaning things were moving a bit slower in real life so it didn't appear like you were watching in fast forward. Massive skill here for everyone, pilot, editing, and even the employees if they in fact had to move at, say, half speed. You can tell the few points where the pilot must have ended that particular part, perhaps even doing it many times back to back to get it right. I could see this being an all day shoot with interior shots done in the afternoon and those exterior shots near the "golden hour".
It’s a custom built drone the pilot made himself.

Best I got is that at the 2:26 mark the clock on the wall says it's 220pm, and at the 3:21 mark it says it's 325pm.

I am ever amazed at the speed and maneuverability of drones today.
Couple that with astounding piloting skills and superb corridination of the doors being open at the right moment makes for a very screenworthy video, one that leaves the viewer with a spinning head at times.
Actually, these kinds of drones fly like a turd compared to freestyle or racing drones.
@@horstderheld22 I have watched some of the drone competitions and been dumbfounded by their level of flight.
And yes, these drone fly at a whole other level of flight.
To fly in an Apache helicopter will rock a person's world while their eye balls are banging around in their helmet. Climb into a CH53 and you think that your in a sea scow, that is until 17 other people get on board, and oh yeah, they roll Hummer on and close the end gate. You roll out a bit into the beginning of flight and your pinned into your seat as your flying at near 180 mph at tree top level through a valley in the San Cristo mountains.
Both aircraft are very good at what they do, and in the experienced hands of a pilot who is very familiar with his aircraft you wonder how such maneuvers are possible at such speeds, precision so smoothly. They both fly, yet their respective flight missions are dramatically unique to each other.
This video is absolutely insane. Kudos! Can't wait to get back there, need to open it up!

Now this is great. I was there with Stephen Thomas and Molly Holm. We took a private tour and walked in all the pleases you get to see in this video. Being a drone pilot myself, I said to Stephen, "you know what", He says "Ya, I know, you want to fly your drone through Hendrick Motorsport." Nice to see someone did. WOW I LOVE IT!

Freaking awesome good. Epic. Besides the FPV skills of the pilot that needed a precise scripting and timing. Kudos also to the editor. And the drone team installing all the signal amplifiers to make that possible. Without teamwork, no such footage 🙌. And no one wears a damned face diaper. Their machine shop is incredible! Wish we could've seen more of it in this video. I machined parts for nuclear subs and aircraft carriers for the DoD and those shops and machines are nowhere near that nice!

80% of it was not there. Before about 1996, basically the entire operation was run out of the strip of buildings where the engine shop and CNC room is. Not to short change anyone else, but HMS really IS the house that Jeff built.

No way in hell this was all done on a drone. Had to be a bunch of fancy AI and video magic. Not a single sound of rotors, that's literally impossible
