I think the pov of the girl looking back fondly on the relationship and appreciating that it was a good time in her life (even though she ended things and doesn’t necessarily want to get back together), really balances out the hurt, sarcasm and heartbreak from the guy’s pov in Congratulations.

Jae's storyline makes more sense too once you've known this bit. Also, in the 3rd mv where dowoon is all alone at home, it was marked in the calendar that it was his birthday and his parents are not around and just left him some money. Dowoon and youngk were both loners at school before but dowoon was the popular type and youngk was the outcast type. Now they became friends after youngk defended him from that big guy at the arcade. Not entirely sure but I like to think that the night at the arcade happend on dowoon's birthday cuz the thought of dowoon spending his birthday alone at first but then eventually spending it with a new friend that is youngk makes me happy hahah

I know a lot of people already said it but there are some things I think people missed so ima put my own comment anyways So the storyline here basically is Young K (short dark hair) is a cold type of person who probably is hated by students (as seen as those girls making threatening gestures at him), the main girl is best friends with Jae (glasses), who sees the girl at the cafe and starts liking her, Doowon is a rich kid who gets no attention from his parents (the note was from their parents and they basically left him money in the third mv) but is smart and liked by girls but keeps to himself so he's pretty lonely, Young K be friends him, Sungjin and Wonpil are best friends and sungjin likes the main girl but Wonpil likes Sungjin (was confirmed by Jae himself), but Wonpil has been observing the whole time and sees Sungjin likes the girl who likes Young K (which seems Young K probably likes back eventually) and the third mv does in fact happen before the 2nd mv. Sungjin basically confessed to her but told her that she didn't need to answer him he just wanted her to know. Tbh I really like mvs that are connected with a storyline (meaning ofc groups that don't have a universe or a storyline throughout their mvs)

What we should pay attention to is the lyrics of the song from the 17:16 part. The camera focus on Wonpil, who sings about his heart toward Sungjin. Wonpil give her keychain to sungjin because he likes Sungjin, and wants Sungjin not to be hurt. I think the reason why Wonpil saw the doll in his hand while hanging upside down from an iron rod was because he was having an internal conflict with whether to deliver it to Sungjin or to pretend not to know. Wonpil likes Sungjin, so he has half of his heart that he doesn’t want to be connected with sungjin and her, and half of he heart that he(sungjin) doesn’t want to be hurt. But, Wonpil gave the keychain because he never want sungjin be hurt. This is because he loves him. This comment was written in a translator, so please understand if it's awkward 😅😅

I know a lot of people already said it but there are some things I think people missed so ima put my own comment anyways
So the storyline here basically is Young K (short dark hair) is a cold type of person who probably is hated by students (as seen as those girls making threatening gestures at him), the main girl is best friends with Jae (glasses), who sees the girl at the cafe and starts liking her, Doowon is a rich kid who gets no attention from his parents (the note was from their parents and they basically left him money in the third mv) but is smart and liked by girls but keeps to himself so he's pretty lonely, Young K be friends him, Sungjin and Wonpil are best friends and sungjin likes the main girl but Wonpil likes Sungjin (was confirmed by Jae himself), but Wonpil has been observing the whole time and sees Sungjin likes the girl who likes Young K (which seems Young K probably likes back eventually) and the third mv does in fact happen before the 2nd mv.
Sungjin basically confessed to her but told her that she didn't need to answer him he just wanted her to know.
Tbh I really like mvs that are connected with a storyline (meaning ofc groups that don't have a universe or a storyline throughout their mvs)

What we should pay attention to is the lyrics of the song from the 17:16 part. The camera focus on Wonpil, who sings about his heart toward Sungjin. Wonpil give her keychain to sungjin because he likes Sungjin, and wants Sungjin not to be hurt. I think the reason why Wonpil saw the doll in his hand while hanging upside down from an iron rod was because he was having an internal conflict with whether to deliver it to Sungjin or to pretend not to know. Wonpil likes Sungjin, so he has half of his heart that he doesn’t want to be connected with sungjin and her, and half of he heart that he(sungjin) doesn’t want to be hurt. But, Wonpil gave the keychain because he never want sungjin be hurt. This is because he loves him.

i know people are split on this but i highkey love the idea of youngk and dowoon being a couple here. not just because of the cute af scene outside the convenience store, but because at the start of the first mv mr. bad boy youngk tries to drive away the girls disturbing dowoon, and dowoon leaves the classroom immediately after youngk does. ofc its a very cute friendship too, but it ticks all my boxes for my favourite kind of romance stories
