Wolf feels emotions, but doesn't understand them and Lamb understands, but doesn't feel. It's a really beautiful combo. Not to mention they're incredibly kind in away. One of many things I love about them, is the fact that they're not "lamb is good and wolf - evil". Some people actually choose wolf as he gives you a chance to survive, run, fight for your life with everything you have, to prolong your existance if just for a moment. Beautiful fragment in their biography: "For as long as its people have known death, Kindred has stalked Valoran. When the final moment comes, it is said a true Demacian will turn to Lamb, taking the arrow, while through the shadowed streets of Noxus, Wolf leads the hunt. In the snows of the Freljord, before going off to fight, some warbands “kiss the Wolf,” vowing to honor his chase with the blood of their enemies. After each Harrowing, the town of Bilgewater gathers to celebrate its survivors and honor those granted a true death by Lamb and Wolf."
dunno why but the guy explaining in the video completely misses the fact, that lamb is the acceptence of death, while wolf is the attempt to avoid it(either you lived a fullfiling and content life or a life of regret.)
Kindred is neither good or evil because Kindred is Death. But the poetry I see in their characters are how opposite their personalities to their roles as revenants. Lamb is the gentle death: Quick, painless, and peaceful yet she is cold and indifferent. olf is the violent death: agonizing, vicious, and cruel yet he is rife with emotions and innocent. Kudos to the writers of this wonderfully made character

@@Aaniel_al.Meara. I'm pretty sure they never "killed" anyone they just represent the 2 sides of death and came to those who chose either to reap/collect them, I wouldn't say they were good but neutral.
@@drkend8269 that's what im saying, they just collecting already dead souls. Kindred is a cool character to me, and if you remember how Fiddlesticks says demon's names when it encounters them in his voicelines, Fiddlesticks calls Kindred the "Grey Man", The Grey Man who split himself with an axe, right. down. the middle. Making Wolf, the heart, one of emotions, who's part in death is the struggle, to fight in the face of death, which I find admirable and sad at the same time. And making Lamb, the mind, one of peaceful thinking, who's part in death is a quick end, peaceful or not, I can really appreciate the peaceful deaths, usually the most saddest for me, but I like it. Although this is kind of my take on Kindred since I don't know as much as probably most other people do.
As for me it makes a lot of sense, in the lore it is said that some people chose Wolf but before hunting they kissed his mask to thank him for the opportunity to fight for life. And as we know, the Wolf feels emotions, so it makes sense.
Aatrox, Jhin, Mordekaiser, Volibear, Pantheon, Viego and Swain are some of the most interesting and well-rounded champions to look into imo. A ton of champs especially the much older ones (like anything pre-2014 in general) won't have all the sophisticated wrinkles and are for better or worse kind of surface-level, like Jinx as she's depicted in canon League is kinda meant to be a very marketable Harley Quinn clone and doesn't go into the detail like her much more complex and multi-faceted Arcane Jinx incarnation.
Something that gets me about one line in particular from Wolf, "No! Thrash! Flee! Run if you can!" On the surface it's obviously about Wolf wanting prey that he can chase, but I'd like to think there's a flip meaning to it. It's a message to keep going. To fight with everything you've got. Don't give up. Claw every extra second you can. Make them work for their kill. I don't think it's what the intended meaning is behind the line, but I weirdly find my interpretation inspiring, even if inaccurate.
It works with the ideology for the character really. Wolf is aggressive and ruthless, but he is not evil. He would not wish harm to anyone, that isn't already fated to receive said harm. So I think what you're saying works. He yells at them to fight for their life, despite knowing they will die. For wolf, life is a hunt where everyone living is a hunter, but at the end become the hunted, and wolf would want nothing less than a prey that starts a chase.
My favorite quote there was definitely "Tomorrow is a hope...Never a promise" . We really should appreciate the people arround us and how lucky we are to be healthy, being able to walk, run and still spend time with those we love. Being young we tend to take life for granted and we get so dsitracted by work and projects that we forget what's important and many people realize that too late. I really like that quote.
In Kindred's story, the "pale man" is them before they split into two.. they're the death symbol in Runeterra and kind of Yin and Yang as well.. there's darkness in the Lamb and light in the Wolf. Lamb gives the ones that accept death a painless passing and Wolf brutally murders those who run from death. One is deaf, the other can't see. One can understand emotions, but can't feel, the other can feel, but can't understand.
i love how they have both sides of the "Never one..." "...without the other." and i love how lamb is wearing the wolf mask, and wolf is wearing the lamb mask
I have never played League of Legends, but Kindred is, in my opinion, one of the best things to come from the game. Such a beautiful duality in these two.

Well done like always, I love that you guys reacted to kindred. Hands down my favorite character next to the cosmic dragon and swain. Personally the one voice line from Kindred that I loved the most and resonated with me is "Tomorrow is a hope ,never a promise". If you stop to think about it there's a lot to that. first thing being is the fact that statement is very true. The second you go to sleep there's always that (albeit a very miniscule chance) chance you die in your sleep for whatever reason be it natural or "unnatural" causes. really puts things into prospective. The "lesson" I took from it is that all you can really due is try to live each day as best you can and ideally be able to say you were proud or content with how it all played out and hope that whatever you did or leave behind has a lasting positive effect on the world and on those who live in said world. As a result I am very thankful for every day that I get, not to be morbid but I could easily have an asthma attack in my sleep and die so each day is truly a blessing in its self regardless if divinity or the supernatural are real or not. Life is too fleeting and fragile to constantly be held back by the fear of death for as you favorite quote goes "The only true death is to never live", which is where you waste your life trying to find a way to never die which is inherently a futile struggle with the "reward" being sorrow, fear and nothing at all to show for all the time you spent running from death. Sorry for how wordy this got and I can't wait to see what character you guys react to next. Like always have a lovely day and see you guys next time.
Interesting detail if you rewatch arcane, specifically the part when Vi and Caitlyn walk through the brothel hallway, you see the kindred Mask on one of the customers.
Jhin, Aatrox, Aurelian Sol, Swain, Volibear, Mordekaiser all have amazing voice lines also! Maybe also Evelynn’s for a good time lol. You should definitely check them out :)
The story Lamb telling when Wolf ask her to told him a story is their Origin!! The man in the story was the Grim Reaper of that world, his job were so lonely, so he split himself into 2 entity is Lamb (who inherit his kindness) and Wolf (who inherit his madness)!! After they're born, they continued their father's job. But now, they're not alone anymore, they have each other! "So he will always have a friend"
Just binged all of your league reactions. I think necrit's video about the riot mmo story is a good follow-up to the video you watched about the lore of the origin of the league universe. He touched and basically summarized all the events that have happened in every nation after all the events he told in the other main lore video so it's a nice summary of "what happens next". Nice reactions altogether, and looking forward to more.
Hell yeah ! I'm so glad you reacted to this ! I really wanted to comment about this exact video. Aatrox and Sylas are both super good too if you want more of that type of stuff !
Oh man, somehow Kindreds voicelines always make me emotional. What an interesting duo of characters, I love the concept. And yeah, good to remember that neither Wolf or Lamb are evil, as they are death and well, death isn't evil, it's just a part of life :")
Lamb is blind, Wolf is deaf. Lamb understands emotion but cannot feel them, Wolf feels then but cannot understand it. Lamb is graceful but her words are dark. Wolf is rough, but has innocence in his words like a puppy.
The wolf is the choice of those who fight for every last moment. It's a more horrible end... but depending on your ability to resist, to 'run' if you can, you can buy yourself a bit more time. Not an infinite amount, but some. But. As anyone who's had a loved one who fought to the end.... well. You know full well, it's an ugly fight, and one you _will_ lose. So what's the better choice? The wolf or the lamb? It's ultimately, I think it's a personal thing.
Yesss! I knew you'd both love these two! I loved seeing your reactions to the heart-tugging words lamb and Wolf had to say, to see the emotion was brilliant. I was super excited to wake up and see you guys reacted to Kindred! ❤️ Also loved that you went with the Kindred voice line video that always makes me shed a tear whenever I listen to it, really awesome. Can't wait for the next vid!
When I saw Kindred Lore reaction, my heart jumped cause I thought someone had requested a reaction to a lore video of the 13 Vampire (Kindred) clans of The World of Darkness.
finally!!! 🎉🎉🎉 pls react to jhin voice lines too 🥺🥺 lamb is the personification if you died with peace. wolf is the personification for those who struggle to face the death.
This awesome! This week has been incredible with Warhammer and League. I highly recommend Pantheon and Aatrox voice line. Pantheon in particular is inspiring and incredible. I also highly recommend Engagingbear's Warhammer videos. I think they would be perfect for your fight night Friday. Keep up the awesome work!
Another fantastic video! My entire week has been made from this, thank you! Now if you want, not exactly a polar opposite, but instead a really inspirational one to look at, would be the Pantheon voice lines by the same person TH-cam channel. I love the way they make the voice lines into a type of story. Also really love the reaction to the back story of the character; really adds a lot. Great video, love you guys, until next time! 😊
A long video that I love is T B Skyen's re-reading of the short story "Rise With Me" it's some beautiful League lore, and he really goes into the story. Also, the short story itself is beautiful and by far my favorite bit of League lore!
When someone approaches their death, they can either accept it or try to resist. When you accept death, you get lamb's arrow. But when you try to resist, wolf will tear you to pieces. I believe it's a similar concept like in the movie Jacob's Ladder, where the doctor says: When you desperately cling to life, you will see demons tearing you to pieces. But when you let go, the demons are really angels, setting you free.
There’s a fiddlesticks interaction with kindred where fiddlesticks says grey man to them, meaning that the story about the pale man was them. Also in lor lamb has other stories like about pantheon.
glad u guys reacted to it. U guys are the best cause u appreciated these things and u guys don't overlook this as "just a game" or "this is a part of the game? aw that sucks. nope"
For me, the most beautiful moment related with Kindred's personality is that even they have a fear. In the story that Lamb is telling us like The Gray Man is their true first form, who was so lonely. Also we know, when Fiddlesticks meets anyone he reminds them about their main fear. When he meets Kindred, he calls them a gray man. That makes me think, that the main thing Kindred is afraid of is being lonely. And this is the same for all ppl I know, including myself, like even the fear of death scares you not that much as the loneliness does.
Cool thing is each region has their own death who they meet and if said death is forgotten, then the death dies. Think only one so far was said to be almost forgotten
If you do need suggestions, try looking up Volibear, Ornn or Aatrox. The first two are demi-god brothers and the second one is a fallen God-Warrior. the reaction was awesome guys!!💘
to further the lamb/wolf explanation, it goes into more detail that Lamb shoots those who have accepted their time, giving them the swift embrace of death. Wolf hunts those who cling to life and do not want to accept their end.
to explane a little more, yes the Game has nothing to do with the Lore, but the Backstory and the Voicelines have. Kindred is existing they are the Death himself of Runterra. He splitted himself into two so he dont need to be alone anymore, thats what they also say. Now it gets a little complicated, the Backstory, the Story with Magga, is the second version because many people misunderstand the first one and was thinkng Kindred killed Magga and others. But the first version was more clear about Kindreds Role in Runeterra. You dont choose the Lamp or the Wolf the way the Guy said in the Video, its all about acepting or dening your Death. Kindred just gather the souls and can only been seen by people who die or almost die. Your Soul meet Kindred and then acepting your death, what you normaly do when you have an accident or because of old age brings you the Arrow from the lamp, a fast and Peacefull dead. If you denie your death, so in fights or if you still need to do something in the living World the Wolf will chase your soul and you might survive but when not..... the death will be horrible (it representing the Humans desire to survive and the Fight to do so) and mostly the Wolf will win. In the first version Magga flew from Kindred without Awnsering the Question and since then ever had the Wolf in her mind, but in the end at the audience she acepted her death and got shot by the Lamp and died fast without suffering the Hunt of the Wolf. I like them, they are pretty symbolic about what we Fear and what we Desire from Death when we need to face them. An wonderful Masterpiece from Leauge of Legends.
a little Bonus: if you trick Kindred. (Rise as an Undead become immortal etc..) and you Die later because of what ever you will face a very badmood and bloodthirsty Wolf.
They all have some pretty good lines and Kindred's design is really good. Lamb and Wolf are two of the best because they seem to mirror each other in ways
Kindred is the duality of death lamb is swift easy death quick painless falling asleep and dying in your sleep, and wolf is the struggle the yarning to live as you bleed out or laying injured on ground resisting staying awake, not closing your eyes.
Fun fact, there is a short story centered around Noxus that mentions they have a temple dedicated solely to Wolf. Because Noxus is a militaristic, expansionist empire, they value war, and thus glorify the violent deaths provided by Wolf over the swift, painless deaths by Lamb.
Another fascinating thing about these two is that, wolf feels without understanding while lamb understands without feeling. So it's almost as if they live through each other, lamb asks wolf what something feels like so she can (feel?) it to, while wolf asks lamb why he feels things. Their dynamic is fascinating and beautiful.
A callback to Fiddlesticks' voicelines: When he meets Kindred, he says "The Gray Man" - Lamb tells a story about a "pale man" splitting himself in two. This is interesting in two regards: Fiddlesticks either calls old entities (like Demons) by their names or says the deepest fear of the character. I think in Kindred's case, it is both. Fiddlesticks recognizes Kindred as the grey/pale man - and the pale man's greatest sadness was being alone - Kindred fears being alone again, being just one again.
I highly recommend watching the trailers for a Plague tale innocence and then a plague tale requiem. Very interesting/intriguing story and very good games
If you want to follow about the stories of death and afterlife in Runeterra the lore of Karthus ia another one that really adds a few good things to the Lore.
Kindred is so edgy and dark.... yet not evil at all and only an absolute natural occurance.... i rly love this. All living things must meet kindred. Thats the natural order of things
There is a survivor from Kindred , his name is Gangplank (also a champion in the game) he probably choose Wolf instead of Lamb and manage to escape death .
Couple of things I want to add first Fiddlesticks calls all demons by their real name why he refers to Swain as Raum because Raum is Swains Demon, the story about the man that split himself in two is Kindred and that's why Fiddlesticks calls them Greyman because all things die but all things have something they fear and that is Kindred's fear to once again be alone. Also what Kindred represents Lamb is a peaceful death for those that accept it and Wolf represents those who fight death and a violent death
I understand Kindred more as an entitiy you meet once you are really dead no way of coming back and then if you, your soul gives in to death and kindred "frees you" or the soul refuses to go even tho there is no point the wolf hunts it down.
Nice, kindred has this beauty within the lore, next I recommend jhin, and his story with zed and shen, their stories are intertwined. I think you guys might like it, major Hannibal vibe.
Kindred has the best voicelines in game, aside from Rammus. Can’t wait for her to get a worlds skin, fingers crossed. In another one of Necrit’s videos, I think the power ranking one, he talks about how truly fucking scary kindred is. Even the immortal characters fear them cause Kindred isn’t death, Kindred is THE END
Loved the reaction and I really hope that Riot Games does make the MMO they talk about making as with all the lore they have will Runetera a incredible place to explore. So just say that a new Wild Rift video for Warwick has come out if you watch it you should watch, follow it with the first video of Warwick LOL Wrath of Zaun video. Hope you enjoy, it would be fun to watch you react. You both have a great day and STAY SAFE. 👍
13:30 this voice line is said to be the story of how kindred came to be. That kindred wasn't the lamb and the wolf but just one entity who represented death. As the story goes since this entity represented death it was left alone and thus in a desperate act split itself in two in an effort to gain a companion. This is why both are named "Kindred" and not "the kindred", one is a title and one is a name. Even some of their voice lines show that as individuals they are incomplete which would make sense as they are onlu one half of the whole. Making their story an even deeper one.
When Lamb told a story about a pale man with dark hair. It's probably them. Pale describes the lamb, Dark hair describes the wolf. All things must meet the man, means all thing meets their end. He splits himself in half and became the Lamb and the Wolf, "so he will always got a friend" That's also reason why they balance each other. Who feels but don't understand, and who understands but doesn't feel.
I think reacting to Jhin lore and voiceline would be a good choice next. He is considered by many players/fans to be the peak character of riot, So I would 100% recommend him.
It would be cooler if u could react to the themes and the gameplay videos of the champs with the voicelines....gives u a very good overall idea of the nature of the champion.
Wolf feels emotions, but doesn't understand them and Lamb understands, but doesn't feel.

Yesss! I knew you'd both love these two! I loved seeing your reactions to the heart-tugging words lamb and Wolf had to say, to see the emotion was brilliant. I was super excited to wake up and see you guys reacted to Kindred! ❤️
Also loved that you went with the Kindred voice line video that always makes me shed a tear whenever I listen to it, really awesome. Can't wait for the next vid!
Kindred!!! Love the dynamic of both of them when they start talking to each other
ikr. what i love the most is when they said the same line, but switching who starts/ends it.
To further clarify the Wolf and Lamb thing, choosing Lamb means accepting your death and going peacefully, choosing Wolf is to struggle against death.
When I saw Kindred Lore reaction, my heart jumped cause I thought someone had requested a reaction to a lore video of the 13 Vampire (Kindred) clans of The World of Darkness.
finally!!! 🎉🎉🎉
pls react to jhin voice lines too 🥺🥺
lamb is the personification if you died with peace.
wolf is the personification for those who struggle to face the death.
Always love these league lore videos. Glad you picked Necrit, I've always been a fan of his lore videos. Hoping to see other champions as well.
Dark Star Thresh has amazing voicelines too, definitely worth checking out.
"WHO WILL WE CHASE NEXT?!"
"Everyone, dear Wolf."
I’m completely satisfied after watching this one 😊 Thanks for giving Kindred a view 🤩
Jhin and kindred literally have some of the most depressing lines of all champs there are in League of legends, nice video
even though i dont like kindreds playstyle or mechanics in game they are my favorite champion lore and eastetic wise there so poetic and iconic
A long video that I love is T B Skyen's re-reading of the short story "Rise With Me" it's some beautiful League lore, and he really goes into the story. Also, the short story itself is beautiful and by far my favorite bit of League lore!
Here's the link if there's any interest at all! th-cam.com/video/ui56ieKlsuY/w-d-xo.html
Next up HAS to be Swain. He has probably the coldest quotes in all of league lore. He's like if Tywin Lannister was a champion
God, hearing Necrit's old accent from his older videos brings me back.
They really do express existential philosophical poetry quite well. They may not be played a lot but they really do say some really deep stuff.
Kindred and Pantheom are thw best voice lines to listen to out of context
When someone approaches their death, they can either accept it or try to resist. When you accept death, you get lamb's arrow. But when you try to resist, wolf will tear you to pieces. I believe it's a similar concept like in the movie Jacob's Ladder, where the doctor says: When you desperately cling to life, you will see demons tearing you to pieces. But when you let go, the demons are really angels, setting you free.
There’s a fiddlesticks interaction with kindred where fiddlesticks says grey man to them, meaning that the story about the pale man was them. Also in lor lamb has other stories like about pantheon.
i love Kindered, their stories and lines are amazing well done and i can't wait for you to react to Mordekaiser's story
glad u guys reacted to it. U guys are the best cause u appreciated these things and u guys don't overlook this as "just a game" or "this is a part of the game? aw that sucks. nope"
Fun note, Wolf is voiced by Mattew Mercer who voices McCree in Overwatch
no ducking way! for real tho, the way VAs can go from one character to a completely different will probably always amaze me
For me, the most beautiful moment related with Kindred's personality is that even they have a fear.
When your time comes, you either accept it, and go peacefully with Lamb, or you fight with everything you have left, and you meet the Wolf.
Warwick: "Which one of you is the wolf?"
Lamb is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Cool thing is each region has their own death who they meet and if said death is forgotten, then the death dies. Think only one so far was said to be almost forgotten
Very cool 😯😀
If you do need suggestions, try looking up Volibear, Ornn or Aatrox. The first two are demi-god brothers and the second one is a fallen God-Warrior. the reaction was awesome guys!!💘
Love the talk after the reaction 🫶🏼
to further the lamb/wolf explanation, it goes into more detail that Lamb shoots those who have accepted their time, giving them the swift embrace of death.
You guys got to listen to Mordekaiser and Warwick's voice lines especially the latter.
Kindred probably got my favorite lines and voices of all. Very interesting concept for the Grim Ripper executed with mastery.
Again, these spirits stalk me... How many times must I tell them, 'Not today?"
As someone who mains the character in the game I can safely say that it sure puts pressure on someone once you mark them to kill them
Another cool vid. I highly recommend Aatrox Voice lines.
YES! FINALLY! Just, pure joy. She has the most interesting vc lines, actual poetry.
10:15 Cos Lamb is giving up, letting go and giving in to death rather than fighting to survive.
If you guys ever want to get inspired by a champion's voicelines, I recommend checking out Braum.
Holy shit that is an old Necrit video
Fun fact, there is a short story centered around Noxus that mentions they have a temple dedicated solely to Wolf. Because Noxus is a militaristic, expansionist empire, they value war, and thus glorify the violent deaths provided by Wolf over the swift, painless deaths by Lamb.
I really recommend Pantheon's quotes. They're pretty cool and hit that "humanity's spirit" sort of vibe.
YES!! Finally
You should react to some more scary champion voicelines, like urgot, sion or swain. They are chilling to the bone lol
A White Lamb, A Back Wolf; A Pale Grey Man
Kindred is so edgy and dark.... yet not evil at all and only an absolute natural occurance.... i rly love this. All living things must meet kindred. Thats the natural order of things
lamb understands but doesn't feel
wolf feels but doesn't understand
There is a survivor from Kindred , his name is Gangplank (also a champion in the game) he probably choose Wolf instead of Lamb and manage to escape death .
Kindred not killing, they are just taking already dead souls. Learn updated lore
Each and every episode is a slow downward spiral of her and Ptsd.
Lamb knows, Wolf feels.
I understand Kindred more as an entitiy you meet once you are really dead no way of coming back and then if you, your soul gives in to death and kindred "frees you" or the soul refuses to go even tho there is no point the wolf hunts it down.
I kinda wish the audio for the voice lines was louder. I love the audio
I know people have recommended other champions; but may I recommend doing Aurelion Sol? he has some marvelous lines
This whole thing slapped me pretty hard when I first listened to it . Dunno why
There are new cinematics about Wow Dragonflyght Legacies
Will there be more reactions to character trailers or cinematics like Azir's story?
Really love Kindred's voice lines. Jhin as well is one of my favorites!
Kindred is easily one of my favorite depictions of a god of death ever.
think you will like Khalista and Morderkaiser if you wanna stay on track with death also feel Thresh you have already dabbled in.
When Lamb told a story about a pale man with dark hair. It's probably them. Pale describes the lamb, Dark hair describes the wolf. All things must meet the man, means all thing meets their end.
He splits himself in half and became the Lamb and the Wolf, "so he will always got a friend"
That's also reason why they balance each other. Who feels but don't understand, and who understands but doesn't feel.
I think reacting to Jhin lore and voiceline would be a good choice next. He is considered by many players/fans to be the peak character of riot, So I would 100% recommend him.
If you are looking for a very intriguin character I would recommend Jhin, he is so elegant and poetic
Could you guys do golden sun summons and dead fantasy and haloid reactions?
It would be cooler if u could react to the themes and the gameplay videos of the champs with the voicelines....gives u a very good overall idea of the nature of the champion.
