I met Sakis and his brother a few years back here in Brazil in a metal fest near where I live and these guys are super sweet and really nice ppl❤❤❤❤ that only proves that metalheads are the best 🤘🏻
@@afrya3307 but they were the original trendsetters and geniuses (especially Dead who started the growling) to start new kind of metal music and the rest of the world only followed
I was fortunate enough to tour with these guys some years back, along with Melechesh, Hate and Abigail Williams. Great memories. These dudes all rule. Total sweethearts. Sakis and Themis are true gentlemen.

Sakis was really cool to meet when RC came to Greensboro! When he conversed with me and my friends, he asked about us and what we did for work, etc. I'm also part Greek, so I got to speak to him in a mix of Greek and English, which was pretty cool. Later that night, we ran into him and the touring members at the Sheetz down the road from the venue and he asked me how to use the ordering screen there 😆
Man, I love the rotting christ live shows. I was at one and after they played all their songs the whole crowd chanted and they came back out to play in the sign of evil existance for us.
I was never intersted in their music and probably never will, but let me tell you something about homeboy Sakis and the guys... There are not many of them "left" in this world.. period. Protect this mentality at all costs!!
When he says that they sometimes break even after a tour, does that mean the members still earn their wages, and the band as a whole break even? Or do band members leave a tour with nothing to show for it, money wise?
Remember that he said they earn money from touring mostly. I think he meant that in the early RC years, they used to tour earning pretty little money, and sometimes they lost more than they gained. Now the band is in its best time, but the passion is the same 🤘🏼
@@lilimarteh I don't believe that's what he meant in the video. He said that touring in comfort is a must so they can put on the best show possible, even if they only break even on the tour because buses are expensive.

Nice guy! He is right about "not living the dream".. not much glamour or money playing in an extreme metal band, even a successful one....
Always passionate and so down-to-earth. He always makes time to treat fans like old friends and it is great to have met him and Themis!
