Good evening, Pastor Piper. I am so blessed to have come across your website. You dear Man of God are a precious jewel. Your explanation of God's word make me love him even more. May the Lord ever bless you. Take care.
Had a conversation with a brother in Christ this afternoon about the passing of tim Keller... The great joy he now knows completely and the feeling of loss to the church. I commented that my feelings will be even more potent on the day of pipers passing. That is not meant for the praise of piper... But as an expression of the joy I will feel for piper on that day and a feeling of loss of a man the Lord has used to bless and sanctify and build up and rebuke and encourage and motivate me to holiness more than almost any other. See you soon tim!
Oh wow! I have been struggling because I am almost 73 yo and I don’t “feel” as though I have contributed much to the Great Commission 😔… this was beautiful, because once again, I realize… it’s not about ME and what I do or have done! This statement and scripture leads me back to the CROSS OF CHRIST! …. It is all about HIM, not me. Thank you, John Piper for sharing such an important email… I am humbled! I thank God for all of you: How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" (Isaiah 52:7, NASB)
Most of my spiritual teachers, whom i found all through TH-cam are mostly with the Lord, RC Sproul, Dave Pawson, Tim Keller. All gifted and brilliant thinkers and Bible expositors. Thanks God their teachings are still available for us for our learning and what I do, i watch their old lectures and see them teaching when they were still younger and feels as though they are just around. But noted even in as they grow, their passion for God remains! Thank you Lord for these great men of Yours. Let their expositions of your word continue to renew minds for your glory🙏😇😍

God bless you, Dr. Piper. We know you are hurting for the loss of Dr. Keller. Thank you for being steadfast. God bless you. In God, we trust. Dr. Keller fought a great fight, and he's home with the Lord. My hope is to remain ground in the word like soldiers God...
What a legacy … thank you Tim you have been my online pastor I’m grateful for technology in that I can listen to great messages from Tim Keller and John piper every day
What they do they do for money, while saying: “We do not do it for money,” and while also saying: “We serve God more than money, but we still serve both.” Jesus commands of all His ministry work: “Freely give.” John would say: “I have given much freely,” while receiving money for all he does, under auspice of salary pay. These men have lead you astray. They are haughty idols with breath to you, on account of your flattery. You would be wise to contend with them, and with all those who share in their evil deeds.
Miss you pastor Tim! Thank you and thank you for living such a life centered firmly in the gospel. Will be praying for Kathy as she continues her journey on earth with the assurance of His love and resurrection.
Both John and Tim were great men and insperation to me, and I love hearing John do his sermons where he reads or says the scriptures by memory, its great how he does that especially when e does Romans. And God bless Tim Keller. He will be missed.
