Alhamdulillah, Islam is so beautiful and the way forward. Congratulations brother. This is truly From Darkness to Light: Sooner or later, the whole world will realise that only Islam is a true divine religion
Brother Mohammad Tim your experience is inspiring to everyone. Your criticism of the approach to orienting new reverts to the way Qur’an, sunnah and sahaba is a genuine critique. Knowledge is paramount in imparting knowledge in Islam and for those who lack knowledge to educate reverts will definitely create confusion in them. Jazakallahu khair for your commitment ,resilience and excelling today in dawah. Alhamdulillah you are exceptional. We wish you good health and strength to continue this wonderful dawah.
There are plenty of such places in India where not even a single masijd upon Qur'an and sunnah is present in today's date. Masjids are many but not upon Qur'an and sunnah and it's such a heartache to see people visit those masjids who have corrupt aqeedah. May Allah ﷻ make it easy for us the people with correct aqeedah to build atleast one masjid of Ahlus sunnah wal jam'a in a city...
Yes akhi mostly there are deobandi and brelvi but every city now some part of that areas have salafi masjid ❤ but yeah mostly not and we have to go there
Sheikh Muhammed Tim humble recommendation books for new muslim/early stages of practising
◦ Quran ◦ Simple Tafsir ◦ Tafsir as sadi ◦ 40 hadith of imam nawawi (start with Jami' al-Ulum wa al-Hikam by ibn rajab) ◦ Bulugh Maram by Hafidh ibn Hajar ◦ General book of Aqeedah which is simplified from a well known author ( eg : aqeedah book by sheikh salih al fawzan) ◦ A good explanation of Kitaab A Thawheed ◦ For fiqh, choose according to your madhab for easiness of learning,(eg:a summary of islamic jurisprudence - sheikh saleh al-fawzan -based on hanbali madhab / Matn Abi Shuja -based on shafii madhab ) ◦ Explanation of the Hadith of Jibril About the Teachings of Islam (Abdul Muhsin ibn Hamad al Abbad) ◦ Books of Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq Al-Badr ◦ Sahih muslim (or summary) Correct me if any mistake.
As a born Muslim I started to go down the path of not caring for my faith and started to live like a kufar alhamdulillah I'm starting to learn more about my religion through this brother right here 🙏 he puts everything across in a sensible way that it's easy to understand. I find alot of scholars hard to follow because they can't explain something in simple terms and become too technical with their terminology. This is very easy to understand and I really appreciate how the concepts discussed relate to real life examples really provides depth and meaning to the ideas and concepts

Allahuma barik, very inspiring wishing i heard these 2 to 3 yrs ago, Qadr Allah, i was also alone so confused subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah it wasnt all lost as i found sheikh's kids' class , i started from there Alhamdulillah and it was and still very helpful, may Allah bless the sheikh and his family also guide his and our relatives to the straight path, Ameen.
MashaaAllah! Islam needs white reverts to be a bridge between islamic and western worlds and to bring the message of Tawheed. I swear i feel like Ustadh Tim is like a sworn brother of mine!
21:30 - We have the perfect religion but don't practice it like we should 😔 So true! Allah has completed His favor on us and chosen Islam yet we turn away from these perfect teachings which will bring us happiness in this life and next. Only way to have COMPLETE freedom is by submitting our will to our Creator's will. He calls us to the best and only wya we should live our lives.
Problems of Islam is the bad behavior of Muslim countries (like uae, qatar, ksa, egypt) where some people behave in really bad way, extreme bad conditions for workers, corruption, etc) Most of expats experience bad situation with arabs/muslim. This is the main problem why we dont spray Islam as we called for. May Allah guide us ❤❤
His level of understanding of Christian practise is 0. It's a shame, a strong argument cannot be made from falsehood. Christians attend church twice a week. They have the commandments of god, "rules" as he calls them. It would benefit you to at least learn them. Also, Christians attend sermons twice a week, prayer meetings and Bible study throughout the week. He admits he had three generations of ancestors who forgot their religion. It's a poor position to talk from, he should be more modest.
He says that his family were nominal Christians, meaning that they don’t practice. It doesn’t mean rules don’t exist in the religion. As Muslims we know Christianity was originally a true religion sent by Allah (which is also the name for God in your original Aramaic Bible) so we know it comes with rules, many of which are similar to Islam like the prohibition of fornication, pork, and alcohol and the commands to worship God alone, not to steal, and to give charity in the form of zakat. The point is Christians don’t practice that or abide by their book. Regardless, Christianity is now distorted, the Bible has been tampered with and polytheism (the “son, father and spirit”) has been introduced into it. No religion is to be accepted by Allah besides Islam, whose followers must accept Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as the last messenger.
