I don't know how to make patterns but after watching this tutorial I would definitely love to try. Thank you, I know my future me would be even more grateful for your tutorial.

Will your dimensions fit any height ? I do not referring to the pants length . You only measured waist to knee, what about waist to hip ?

Heavy cotton something that drapes will be better. Look for cotton suiting fabric.
