Awesome work! I have been used your tips in many of the figures I prepare for my scientific papers. When you have some time in the future, I would love to see a tutorial on realistic water droplets and a splash of water. So far I am facing many troubles in order to draw similar things in Inkscape. Thanks!
Rick, your channel has become my Gray's Anatomy for Inkscape. I definitely have to buy a hat or something. Do you have a Patreon!? I have watched 8 videos in a row as Im figuring out how to animate in 2d with capcut. Cut out animation with doesnt cut it anymore. I want a more "traditional" line art and cell shading. This is starting to finally make sense! Thank you!!!
@@IronEchoDesign yup i have seen it that's why asked the others, cause most tutorials are created with premium softwares like adobe. So i wanna see the potentials of inkscape. It's my main design tool.
Hey Rick, as always your video was awesome and helpfull, i wanna ask you about how to make the Obama hope poster style, cause i think it's cool design but at the same time it's little bit difficult when i'm try to make it, so i hope you can show the right way to make it that type poster style design in inkscape, thank you very much and hope god bless you rick
Thanks! One option to try to get the side menu back on top is to go to View- and towards the bottom of the dropdown menu deselect Widescreen if you see it selected. Hope this helps!
Depends on the printer. I’d run a test print with any POD service. Sometimes the transparency comes out okay. Other times not so much. A custom printer could handle it, but it’s more expensive. You can also alter the overall design to halftones which would change the style but print better.
My eyes still looking for more map art Dear Rick. I thought you may be also missed to make another map and waiting a request from a follower 😅 I may be able to help with that :D I hope all is well, all the best
Actually I was looking for ways to modify the color palette in a creative way on a finished map to make couple variations, kind of extracting a palette from an image and apply that easily to the map. After I export as PNG, I am using gradients to do that. An easy and productive way to make couple variations would be nice 😇😇 Thank you from now Rick 🥳🥳@@IronEchoDesign
Hi rick Thanks for this tutorial I've seen this video where the author take a google earth map and draw the boundaries and color of the country above the map : th-cam.com/video/XNYa4azR8z4/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared&t=5 is it possible to do so with inkscape ?

Thanks. Very interesting! I’ll play around with water droplet ideas. Is there a specific infographic you’re looking to create?
Thanks! Nothing very specific, but at some point I would like to create a water droplet coming out from a splash in the ocean.

@teerawatsrivithas4700 Nice! 😀
Thanks for the tutorial. I have requested a tutorial about making a poster like the Obama poster style last year, can you make it if it's possible?
is this kind of design will suite on t shirt?
