CANADIAN ROCKIES 🇨🇦 Day 10 | Waking Up At LAKE LOUISE | Breakfast With a View | Travelling Home |

- It is our last day in Canada and what better way to say goodbye than waking up in the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and catching the sunrise! After watching the orange alpen glow on the surrounding peaks reflecting in the lake we pack up and grab breakfast from a coffee shop inside the the hotel. We then snag ourselves a lovely lawn chair right on the lake front and enjoy the lovely warm sunshine and some people watching. Unfortunately it is then time to hit the road and make our way to Calgary Airport to catch our WestJet flight back to Dublin, followed by our Ryanair flight back to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. It was an incredibly long travel day and to help with the jet lag we booked the T1 Lounge at Dublin airport for our 4 hour layover, which helped a lot with giving us somewhere comfy to relax whilst we were waiting around!
Thank you so much for coming along with us on our Canadian Adventures, we really did have the most amazing time in the Canadian Rockies and it truly is one of the most spectacular places in the World and definitely one of our firm favourites out of the places we've travelled to! If you haven't already, put Banff National Park high up on your bucket list! See you on our next adventure! x

Lake Louise is special. Been many times. In summer when +34c. In winter when it was -37c and deserted. Was wonderful to walk across the frozen lake with ice sculptures on it. Flowers frozen into the sculptures added to the magic. Enjoyed your series, thank you. Hopefully will get chance to say hello when my wife and I are back in Tenerife on the 17th Feb
Wow I would LOVE to see it all frozen over and a complete winter wonderland but I think I would also miss the turquoise blue water! I see videos of people ice skating on Lake Louise and it just looks amazing 😍 definitely come and say hello if you spot us in Tenerife, and if not have a fabulous holiday! 🌴☀️

Another fabulous vlog of you & Dean's Rockies trip, wonderful scenery & spectacular views from your room in the Fairmont. You will be sad its all over, but I'm sure you will return at sometime. Enjoy your trip to Tenerife with your family. We will be back in Tenerife in April then Calgary in May.

Thank you Cat and Dean for the Canadian Rockies Series, we have done much of what you did when we were there 7 years ago as we drove from Edmonton over the Rockies to Calgary where Sandra my wife has relatives, via Banff and Canmore, we have special memory's of Lake Louise as we got engaged there just right of the hotel looking over the lake, thanks again. If you ever go back try driving from Calgary to Vancouver over the Rockies, we have done that too and it was amazing you can easily do it comfortably with a stop off over night half way, then take a slightly different route back with another half way stop off.

Stunning opening scenes, breath-taking, the sunrise reflection in the Lake, the colours on the mountains. I could feel your contentment. When you were sitting in the chair by the lake, I thought about Andrew sitting in the rocking chair in Celebration, both beautiful in their own right, but Lake Louise edges it for me. You will never forget your stay at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. What an amazing series, can't wait to see more of your travels. Have you ever been to Nova Scotia ? Another beautiful province of Canada with more of a nautical feel to it. Have a brilliant time in Tenerife, I hope the weather is good for you.

I do have to work hard to play hard ☺️Whilst it feels like I go from one holiday to the next when watching the vlogs, 5 months have actually gone by since I got back from Canada and in those months there’s been working extra shifts, extra weekends and having very little social life to be able to save up! It’s all worth it though, I love travelling! 😊
Thanks Cat and your trusty assistant Dean for a wonderful series of vlogs. I'm in Tenerife at the moment and who knows maybe our paths will cross. Rumour has it the three of you are into the motor spares export business.

An amazing vlog and brings back happy memories, we visited Lake Louise many years ago but we were not able to walk around the lake due to a bear and her cubs! We did see a couple of bears while we travelled round the area.

Hi cat & Dean,wow what a sunrise producing the colours from the mountains reflecting on the lake,I wonder if they will dig down abit and then not build it to high so it doesn't affect the view for those rooms🤔🤷♂️im sure you'll update us when it's done,lol I was literally typing are you trying to outdo andrew and laura in those chairs when you mentioned it🤣so if you returned the bear spray unused but you can't get a refund do they then resell it to someone else and get paid twice for it?shame about the drone but just another reason to go back😁loved the Banff mug,wow that's a long travel day back especially having to go via Dublin😬the lounge and food looked nice tbf but love Dean there's no screaming kids🤣🤣but I'd be the same,I hope you atleast had a couple of days off work when you got home to get over it all,fantastic series guys and look forward to next week when you'll be in tenerife🥳🥳🙂👍
