It’s weird how the Autumn flowers didn’t sell. I bought some of the ‘blue’ colourway from you and it is gorgeous….I made a Hug Hoodie and it is perfect. Easy to work with and the finished result makes my sewing look so much better than it is. I don’t think the scale of the print is a problem, I don’t normally like large scale prints but these really are gorgeous. I’m now making another Hug Hoodie for a friend who begged me for one after seeing this.
Lovely to see you again, Jenny! Thinking about gilets - Itch To Stitch patterns have a great new FREE pattern out called the Deba Topper. I’ve just sewed it up and I love it! It has bust cup options and a big size range. I’ve also seen a video of it sewn in a quilted cotton (batik). Lifting Pins and Needles (Karina) has done a pretty good video about it too. Worth a go, I think! Xx
Lovely to see you back from your hols. Strangely enough, I popped into my fairly local fabric shop yesterday (20 miles from me) and one of the ladies was cutting out a pattern in babycord. I am doing a combo at the moment- slightly autumnal for Sept trip to Ireland and last minute sewing summer for trip to Kos in October. I love the orange Crafty Pie fabric - very retro. Happy Sewing 😊. Lynne
