Playstation 4 (PS4) Pro Teardown Tutorial / Disassembly & Laser Replacement 🪛

This video shows you how to disassemble a PS4 Pro console (Playstation Model CUH-7016B). Here we take apart all the components including the mainboard (APU [ CPU + GPU ], Ram, Blu-Ray drive, hard drive, power supply, fan etc.). The drive has been completely disassembled too in case that you need this for cleaning or replacing the laser lens. This tutorial is to provide primarily support for a possible necessary repairs or cleaning. In order to replace, repair or clean any components, the console must be opened. This will void the warranty. Please ensure that you have the right tools available to avoid damaging the console when opening. All opening tools used in this video are not binding and can be possibly replaced by other types (eg. different screwdrivers). Before opening please ensure that your tools are suitable to teardown the console. The reassembly can be watched at the end of this video in fast motion.
