I believe the Republicans have figured out a way to siphon money away from the Ukraine into their own pockets and into the RNC to fund Republican state and national candidates. This could be the only reason why they would vote for money to the Ukraine, which is a corrupt government. The Biden administration pointed out the corruption in a 22 page report issued late last year.

Our Democrat party voted almost 100% along with about eight Maverick Republicans to remove former Speaker Kevin McCarthy from his position. Many Republicans feel that the new Speaker is more of a democrat than a Republican. Very likely with Democrats coming together to support the new Speaker, they will be even more upset. Politics is an amazing endeavor.

I enjoy listening to an interview with Congressman James Clyburn. He is informed, very experienced and unafraid to put forth a position for the Democratic party. In this interview, I was pleased with his support of VP Kamila Harris. I am a big supporter of VP Harris and have said she would be a better president than any candidate the GOP has put forth for several decades.
I really like the work Michael Steele is doing.

I'm thankful Johnson chose to do the hard part of the job 🙏🏽. Any amount of potentially consistent bipartisanship should be acknowledged as a step in the right direction that I hope we can continue to build upon. It puts the trump worshipping MTG types that sympathize with deranged autocrats on their back foot and allows the democratic business of the people to move forward. We should not allow a root of bitterness to take hold and dictate our decision making, but at the same time not be naive but vigilant and discerning.
