This is my dream motor, ever since I seen them on the road I fell in love with them.. however it was just the price bracket which put me off them and the car market at the moment is constantly up and down. What I love about your videos Calvin is that your so honest and give such good feedback on all the motors you drive whether it’s negative or positive, which gives us a great understanding of the cars which we dream about or may not of even considered previously. Keep up the good work and look forward to more videos 👍🏼
Hell yeah he is. I’ve just had a really bad experience with a car trader and just wanted my money back but now have to go to court because the car was miss sold to me and they refuse to take it back even tho I’d only had the car a week and had already spent out half the money I’d paid for the car to try and unsuccessfully fix it
My1999 BMW E38 its on 200.000 miles Is realy crazy mint it has had 8 owners the first 5 only used BMW,main dealer then then the next 2 where same family used a bmw specialist like will then i use the same specialist ,Old is gold .if you TYPE IN AUTO UNION 728I It will come up green .
SW = Aberdeen car, the RSQ3. Very popular here. The RS4 on shifting metal channel recently was also from Aberdeen. Everyone up here has private plates as well!
With regards to the number of former keepers; you're completely right Calv. I remember reading years ago, the car reviewer Honest John. He was a fan of cars with multiple owners because the car has been exposed to a full range of driving styles. The engine and gearbox will have had all its parameters explored, not just being driven in the same style day in day out 99% of the time. He bought an ex rental Mondeo if I remember correctly, and it lasted him years! Of course, service history is key.
Just found your channel as currently looking at RSQ3 Sportback or BMW X3M...out of interest, which would you say generally is more reliably? I have had 5 BMWs from 320Ds to X5 and M4's, but not an Audi, hence gauging opinions. TIA
RSQ3 very good car. SUV has more rear space over the sport back. Personally I prefer the look of my suv version over sb version. No issues, 21k miles in.
Not hating as i am a fan of the channel, however, you can't say you're a car trader when majority of the stock you sell is sold as buy it now 'auction' = selling cars with no comeback/no warranty. You sell the few under retail. Wouldn't call that car trading surely 🤷🏻♂️
@@CalvinsCarDiary great reply, shows your true personality, selling cars under 'auction' rules means you have little comeback on you should anything go wrong for the customer, you're definitely NOT a reputble car trader.
I’ve been trying to get into the car trade/ become a salesman for years. Don’t mind being a trainee, just want my foot in the door, can’t seem to get anywhere, any advice?
I want to get into the car trade... a mate is selling an E90 330d for £900 but 6/10 in terms of condition with 190K miles. I'm seeing them go for £1500-2000 - is that a good start?
Banks fund car dealers mate otherwise everyone would cash in and retire if there money😅 they can’t because it’s not there money they take profit then the lump goes back into a pot , it’s like a massive over draft all dealers do it , u don’t think people who sell these super cars Own them out right 😅
@@Stinky-pinkys hey dude, I work for a main car dealer 😊 I was more interested in what stock funding company Calv uses to fund the vehicles (banks work differently)

Calvin IS a natural car dealer he's also a natural presenter whether on TV or on social media..
✌🤜🏾
Good idea about having cars in stock on a sale or return basis. Saves you putting money out of your own bank account.
outstanding content calvin great stuff
Calvin is a lot more open and honest unlike some (most) dodgy car traders.

Are your neighbours not still kicking off about how loud that alarm is when someone comes in the door?
No mate, It's turned right down now just sounds loud in videos.

Yeah would love that in one video!
He did that with the TH-cam dealership series last year
Such a sick collection 🔥🔥
I like all brands, had a few fast Audis but X3M hands down for me.

I would have the audi over the BMW. I think the audi looks better and sounds good too
Haw Would sourcing a car for someone work you mentioned before most people finance , would it have to be for smaller cash buyers , ,
The talking of this man is on a different lvl 😂
Are doing a video on the black defender?
That's interesting about selling a car on someone's behalf but how do you earn from doing that?
I guess with the Range Rover they sell it for 125.000 and the dealer takes 5k or something from it. The owner takes the 120.000? no, yes?
Great video Calvin ! However can’t keep up with posting times always was 6pm 😂
Mixing it up a bit at the minute

Calv....we see plenty of work done on the cars by Will at VRS but I dont think weve seen your own team working on the mechanicals......a future video?
You will be waiting a long time for that video !
None of them are mechanics at binca mate
Nothing scarier than used car dealer mechanics on site. I'd rather get a fat discount and repair myself.
Great channel
@calvin, did that blue RS3 come from Cornwall?
Mate buy some wd40 for the office door, thanks
