@@johndubler I discovered Spurgeon in the 90s. Fiddling around in my pastor’s library. I couldn’t believe these were sermons from the 1800s. The way he picks apart topics fascinates me . It’s so modern. Once you are saved the Bible makes clear logical sense. Get Genesis right and everything else falls in line perfectly. Perfectly! He understood his bible! Faith is essential. Faith that informs you reasoning is great gain! Jesus used reasoning. “Go to the ant…” “Consider the lillies…” The scriptures not only make spiritual sense but human sense also.
