600's are a must-have on our sets too, we've been pairing 1-2x 600d's for bouncing light inside, with the 1200d for lighting from outside and it's been perfect
lol for reals on the gimbal comment lol I have two (technically 3) of them and I hardly ever use them anymore 🥺 I bought into the youtube hype at the time, I think I'll be able to work them back in with some shots eventually but I've been enjoying the handheld and locked off shots more lately... Might even want a slider lol but as far as a 600w light, looks like such an awesome piece of kit, and covers practically all bases for simulating or matching outdoor lighting, etc., so versatile.
Great vid, thanks for sharing. Can you link the super tall light stand you are using for those outside shots? I am looking for something like that. How high does it go, about 15ft? Thanks!
I'm trying to make music educational content, and need to be able to illuminate a full sized drum kit in a medium sized studio. Would I require this much output? Other lights I'm considering are the LS 60x, Godox Knowled M300d, Amaran 300c. I'm a novice
Can I ask you bro, aputure has a sale right now and I can get the 600 X for around $1600 and the 600 D non-pro version for $1000 and they both come with the fresnel and the barn doors. Which one would you get? Only light I have now is a 120 D mark too, and I’m tired of it.

loooooove the 1200 too!
@3:32 Cool to see how you fit the fresnel into the same case!
Absolutely crucial imo.
3:22 Very clean shot, good job ! 👏
Thank you!
Couldn’t agree more. I just like this light in combination with its fresnel. Thanks and merry Christmas to you 😊
such a great combo! Merry Christmas!

Between those two lights, 600d. That’s what I would do.
Mine too. A workhorse
Do you know if they updated the firmware to have a constant fan mode?
I was just about to buy the godox m600d, this is actually cheaper and seemingly better
