The Renault 8 was a great step away with a little Dauphine chassis
The one thing about the 62 Plymouth is that it is better looking than the 62 Dodge.
Lotus Europa was beautiful and strange
Only 25% should be on this list
The Europa doesn't belong on this list. In the sixties, it was a head turner, easily distinguishable from any other sports make or model, and highly desirable by enthusiasts. All the rest of the selections are spot on.

3:25 ~ Oh ~ now hold on a moment! The Lotus Europa is gorgeous! I wanted one of those so bad as an 8 ~ 12 year old. Catch is, I wanted what it had originally been conceived as - the same front half, but with a 3.5 litre Ford-Cosworth Formula One engine and transmission in the back. Suspension and everything mounted to the engine / transmission, which became the back-half of the chassis ~ exactly the way Chapman's Formula 1 cars of that era worked. The original concept to go to Le Mans and whop Ferrari, was taken up by Colin Chapman and Henry Ford-2, but they both had massive egos and it fell apart. The development by Lola, was a 2nd attempt. The original Ford Beats Ferrari car, became the Europa. The engine and so on it had as a road car, was a bit of a joke, but if they'd made what the original concept had been ~
How about we go through everything made by Morris ~ starting with the Vickers's Car, the Morris Minor?
British car design through the '60s produced some absolute gems, like the E-type. But it definitely produced some shit-heaps as well. Let's look at everything made by Woolsley for a start... The Ford Anglia ~ Yeah ....
"Sexy" in Britain in the late '60s, meant a Triumph Stag. Yeah, I know, right? They did look alright, not all that ugly. They did sound kinda good, when running right. But that engine was just the greatest heap of shit ever foisted on customers! Yeah, it was a V8 of about 4 litres, but it was an absolute engineering disgrace. A 2 litre Ford Escort Rally version, would just shit all over a Stag ~ as long as it didn't break down that day.
Austerity Britain means we don't pay auto designers, we let our children doodle on the fish & chips wrapper, then get angry dwarves and Scotsmen to assemble it by throwing parts from opposite sides of the building. Lighting and ignition and such, was thoughtfully provided by Lucas, Prince of Darkness.
Wot? Yes, I'm an Australian, child of '62, and more than half the cars on the road here until I was ten or so, were British made cars. I know the evil of which I speak. 50 years later, I still sometimes wake in fright. The scars are deep.
Your Lightburn Zeta and Morris 1800 segments had the photos swapped. In fact, the Morris 1800 was an Austin with literally just the Morris badge on the grille and was a great car and very popular. Lightburn was an Australian concrete-mixer manufacturer that dabbled in cars and washing machines. Their washing machine looked suspiciously like a concrete mixer clad in sheet metal.

I don't know how you have selected your list. If it is your about your personal taste of design then well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally consider some of these cars as pure beauty gold.
But if your list is about the taste of the former consumers and critics then you should double check your research data. The Renault 16 for instance was officially European Car of the Year 1966 and for many years present almost everywhere in Europe. The design with the fastback was pretty new but a pattern for the standard car of later decades.
The Renault 8 wasn't unique but a resumption of the Simca 1000 and it weren't Renault and Simca only who built cars like that. In fact the design was pretty much popular at that time (and I bet you would be exited when sitting inside of such car how great you can see everything around you compared to cars of recent times).
And finally: when complaining about the rear of a car like the 1960 Plymouth Valiant why don't you show it to your viewers? I'm not familiar with US cars or at least just a few of them. So how can I follow your thoughts about bad design?

1:49 That's a '58 Plymouth, not a '62 Imperial.
2:03 That's a '62 Chevy, not a Plymouth.
Renault 16 was a masterpiece. Likewise the Lotus Europa.
Charger Daytona and the almost identical Plymouth SuperBird were designed for one purpose, and were beautiful perfection to the intended marker NASCAR drivers.
1962 Plymouth Fury was too strange rispect the the classic and harmonic design of the GMs
So please, I agree with some of them.
But not with the Renauld 16, the checker and the Dodge Daytona (although the normal front looks better)
Renault 16 wasn't so bad.

I don't disagree with your list. I know a few of these are iconic now, but back in the day they were awkward. The first time I saw a charger daytona was about 1972, and I thought it was god awful. Now I think they're cool, but back then: abomination. Same is true with the Europa. It's iconic and I like them today, but back in the early 1970s, I thought "kit car'. It is not a great design, it looks like someone grafted a "cheap" dino ferrari front end on an el camino bed with a tonneau cover. Cool today, but not back then.
Alfa Romeo Zagato was a masterpiece with a strange nose
Ya think 🤔
I disagree ref the Valiant, the Imperial and the Renault 16. I regard all 3 as amazing vehicles. In Australia the Renault sold strongly and was a great European road car. Yes, once upon a time, Renault built great cars, unlike now.
The '62-'63 Imperials were great from the rear 3/4 view, polarizing from the front, and the Renault 16 is a fine exterior shape around a passenger cabin the size of a football stadium.
The Valiant is certainly bold, but while the '60 Chrysler, DeSoto, and Dodge models were among Exner's best work, the 'nicest thing I can say about the '60 Valiant is that it wasn't as ugly as the '62 Dodge Lancer. Utterly hideous, worse, even, than the '61 Plymouth.
The cars of sixties was also ugly, but original and iconic
Last pics taken in Ucraine
Plymouth Valiant was not too beautiful, maybe suffer of had a great car design in compact car layout
Your taste is in your mouth.
