@Thierry1873 Cheers for the positive comment. Yeah, it's like a social/working man's club in the UK so it only has the one table. It's a bit slower than what I would want a table to play like. I'd love to have my own table but the cost and space needed is very difficult. I would also have heaters on my own table to reduce moisture and keep the bed of the table playing well. I would also use Hainsworth Match cloth as I think it plays nicely and lasts a decent amount of time.
I remember asking my dad if could have a six by 3 table as one of the rooms was big enough to play in, he allowed me to buy one and loved playing the game and as you are doing cleaning the table / ironing it and putting the balls in warm soapy water and drying .. it certainy made a big difference playing the game when everything was spotless :)
Ah nice, always good to look after something like a snooker table no matter the size. My brother and I had our own 6ft table and we would brush it regularly. You would always notice a difference in play when on a clean table. I think it also makes you feel better and can often lead to playing better when the table is clean.
