I knew there was a reason I kept all these old phones lol.. got my PH1 (5.2Mh/s) and Pixel 4XL (6.2Mh/s) hashing away in 5 mins.
I just found out P2pool has support for merge mining. Can you please do a video showing us how to setup a VPS merged mining pool for the Scrypt algorithm with P2Pool mining something like Digibyte as the primary coin and a few secondary coins like Doge, and Dingo merge mined coins. Thanks

What would be the reason you wouldn't go large scale with these? Couldn't you do a 200 phone setup?
Good afternoon, Retro Mike. I was wondering if you could possibly address your charging setup? I have 8 phones, now plugged into a charging station via USB-USB-C cables, the ports are listed at 5V/2.4A but they don't seem to keep up with the 8 phones even though the max output of the charging device seems like it should. @@BIG.G.00 A10e is 32Bit phone, you can only mine with 64Bit Phones and minimum 4GB Ram (or sometimes 3GB is okay if its a samsung/running Android 11 and above)
Do you know by chance why I wouldn't be allowed to install the miner app on a Moto G? For some reason it won't work on those, works just fine on the AO3S (appreciate it!).
I do not. You may need to allow installation from unknown parties but other than that it should install if it’s a modern android device. I successfully set up a Moto G Power phone

Scala (XLA) used to be a popular one too and of course XMR is always popular on any type of device. I've done both of those on phoneas in the past, but Verus is my preference.

Thanks for the video. My phone stops mining and says “retry in 30 seconds” after about 12 hours of mining. Restarting it, closing out and restarting the phone doesn’t do anything. Any suggestions?
Check to make sure that the WiFi is connected. I've run into that as well.
@@josepheveryman wifi is connected. The little wifi symbol in the miner always has an exclamation point though. Not sure what that means since I can’t click on it. Every time I setup a new pool, it mines for about 12 hours then does the same thing.
I have seen this before but it was during the verus upgrade when running the old miner. Never had the issue with the latest version of the miners.

I use the Verus Desktop wallet. You can also use the verus mobile wallet.
And how do one sell the coin, it's not available on trust wallet or binance

Yes, any modern android tablet or phone should be able to mine. I've done it on Amazon Fire Tablets with success.
