The improvised gun, towed by a home-made tractor, has been ridiculed online.

@@diegoflores9237It was closer to 26% two years ago, but now it is 19% because Ukraine was able to liberate 7% from the russians. And all Ukraine has to do is just keep fighting as they are, and the russian economy will collapse completely. It’s close to that now. So, Ukraine will get all their occupied territories back (including Crimea) after russia’s economy tanks because they will no longer be able to fund the war. And right now, russia’s economy is circling the drain.
Personally, after this happens, I look forward to seeing Buryatia become an independent, sovereign state and reclaim their natural resources. Buryatia will be one of the wealthiest countries on Earth when this happens. Those people have been forced to live in poverty for much too long while putin and his cronies robbed them for decades.

I’d say it’s a good use of recycling but it’s a low pressure 73mm gun you essentially need to be up in the enemies face to be properly effective and there’s barely any armour on that thing!

Is there no recoil or counter coil system mounted on that gun platform? It's jumping all over the place. Also - setting it up in an open field? Really? No cover or attempt at concealment!

It may seem funny, especially considering that this is the second best army in the world (supposedly). But to me, it's a positive example of the improvisational ability any army should have to fight with whatever is at hand. Beyond the sympathies for one side or the other, it is worth highlighting the ingenuity of these fighters.

Here the sights had been removed (you can see the void space over the gun) so he's firing blindly.
Even with the sights present, they are made for short range combat. The utility of that thing as a portable artillery piece is practically none. it can be of any use (if equiped with the sights) only to reinforce a fixed position.

Umm, i dont care what it looks like a 70+mm shell will definitely mess up your health. I dont see it being possible to range and sight though.. they will find a way to lock it down.

Considering they are firing blindly, so the round can end up anywere in the general direction of the barrel, but the gunner is surely in line with the semiautomatic breech of that ass-old 2A28 Grom, I don't know if I would prefer to be in front of the gun, or behind it.

With no body armor, helmets or fortifications there is no way the footage of the homemade cannon was shot anywhere near a battlefield. That is some sort of training exercise. What makes anyone think it was even in Ukraine?
