Let us not forget to include the phrase "empty promise." This is where, according to me, someone says that he will do something, then doesn't do it, then doesn't bother to explain why he didn't do it. Then if he is pressed for an explanation he gives a partial truth while looking away from you. He takes this course of action because he firmly believes that there are no real consequences to his empty promise.
I have had many experiences with people behaving as such.

Catching a person lying because they think they are smarter than you are is agitating.

That's true, it’s really frustrating when someone tries to lie to you because they think they’re smarter. The sad thing is, they not only lack respect but also fail to realize that the truth always has a way of coming to light. When faced with dishonesty, it’s important to stay calm and not let emotions take over.

Red flags are life's way of teaching lessons - stay alert, trust your gut, and never settle for anything less than genuine relationships.

Dodgy behavior and two-faced actions are such relatable struggles. Loved the way you broke it down with clarity and practical wisdom. More people need to see this! 🔥

My so called friends are always doing these unpleasant things to me & my husband snide remark’s or questioning everything we do or don’t do & the look on their faces when we don’t always do what we say we’re going to do ! It’s a look of pure pleasure when we don’t always reach our goals ! Needless to say I’ve completely backed away from them !! 😢

The connection between envy and trust erosion hit me hard-so true how small acts can break confidence over time. Thanks for shining a light on this! 💡
