Hmmm or they just say you are crazy when you catch them in a lie or they say they didn't say that, making you feel crazy that you think they said that. People like this will drain you emotionally because you give and give and don't receive back, once you are drained you are useless to them and once they realise you are on to them they don't want you anymore because they lost control over you....the day I told my almost ex husband I'm not scared of you anymore I could see in his face he realised he lost total control over me and then he changed into his real person and now he doesn't need to act like a nice person anymore, now he is a very very nasty cold person.

"Empathy?!" Maybe if you are a woman manager at Mc Donalds and your soda fountain station person just told you they're sick and won't be coming in. But for those of us who have responsibilities to our employers, the people who pay us, well, I don't give them excuses. I don't give them, in exchange for my salary, my personal problems. I give them what they have paid for. It's called integrity. Empathy is for simps and losers. It's always an excuse for reneging on an agreement. Tell me how you feel about empathy when your boss tells you your paycheck is going to be late, because he had to pay for an expensive cancer treatment for his mother.

Does Stoicism believe in labeling or judging people as "stupid"? If so, it is a denigrating philosophy that should be shunned, better still, rejected with contempt. There is NO philosophy worth its salt that will attach a label to anyone. Things are just what they are.

America now has a President who models most, if not all, of these 6 signs of a stupid person. Seems people sharing at least more than one of these signs voted him in. How can we increase critical thinking in America? If we don’t, we’re doomed for more stupidity at the helm.

I have no problem dropping people out of my life instantly. If they lie, they're out, if they say one thing and do another, they're out, if they change their behaviour according to the company they're in, they're out. I have no time to pretend they are the people I wish they were, none whatsoever, period!! If they don't.Like it, I don't care and I take precisely zero time rethinking the situation.

I had a boss who would say, "you like that do you? Ok time to change it" we got on like a house on fire. Wise CEOs managers and coaches, recognise talent or genius in some and for the betterment of all, allow those people to "draw outside the lines" A flexible approach, within reason, will always see results and a much happier business or team. We all have something different to bring to the table

The good and the bad or the devil can not live in the same roof. We can not change anyone , it is just a waste of our precious lifetime by trying to change or convince them. Therefore, I totally agree with Stoic Training that we have to keep distance with anyone who gives us mental inflictions regardless who he/she is. Most people are not honest ! Protect your inner peace by staying away from them and do not hate them at all. Well, definitely there are more than 12 toxic behaviors. Good friends or good people are rare. Be a good person instead, do not try to look for another one and be grateful to whoever helps you even a small thing!

Demons will always find fault no matter how you try. But a devotee will always see even a little percentage of goodness in your heart no matter how sinful you are. That why sometimes he is called Paramahamsa or Swan like devotee. A Swan can drink milk without sucking the water, it can stay on water without getting wet. Paramahamsa can live in this world but not of this world.

I enjoy helping the kids save money a dollar at a time, and the little happiness as they get mail in reaching into the mailbox and a card is for them.
