    Hey I have 1 question please help, I completed my 4 years from ukraine now I'm taking transfer to Kazakhstan & there they're giving physician degree in 5 years, but on wdoms the University curriculum is showing 7 years, many student completed 5 year course from Kazakhstan & passed mci & had no problem but for usmle there will be problem or not for ecfmg registration? Or we have to do 2 years internship in Kazakhstan only, As I heard this from 1 youtube channel .

      no problem, when you register at ECFMG website they'll ask you about past medical schools. As long as you follow the instructions and have the paperwork, you'll be fine

    Sir! Congrats you matched. If you tell us about the step 1 Pass Fail system as you have now gone through interviews... So what you think, score will matter or not if you are applying for 2023 match? TIA

    • @RehanAwais
      @RehanAwais  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think step 1 scores will matter once it becomes P/F. Since most programs use score filters nowadays, once step 1 becomes P/F, they won't be able to use the score filter because some people will hàve 3-digit scores and others will have P/D score. My guess is that focus will shift towards CK, Step 3, research and USCE

    Hello Dr. Rehan, thank you so much for making this video. Do we need to be a UAE resident to be able to apply for and do residency in UAE, my family and I live in a different country, we don't live in UAE, but I am also interested in doing residency in UAE. I'm currently studying for USMLE and I want to keep my options open that's why I'm considering UAE as well.

      There's no transfer or migration. ecfmg only overlooks licensing exams for US residency. It's not the same as migration/transfer.
