@@cubygamez3036 and which of these two sounds better? And which one muck off chain lube you used? I looked on the Internet, there are many different ones
Aw that sucks man, it also depends on how much you drop it on hard surfaces. Sometimes when it taps a little more than usual, I deep clean it by disassembling it and cleaning every part with brake cleaner, then water it down and letting it dry. After that, I assemble it back up again and oil it (make sure the "burr" side or the rounded side of the washer faces the blade and the sharp side faces the handle. It isn't really critical if you're using bushings, but it is for washer balisongs.) To make the oil go into the pivots better, I put a couple drops on the pivots, then slightly un-tight it, then wiggle the handles, then tight it back up and clean the residue after.
@@cubygamez3036 oh thanks for giving the advice of cleaning it i will probably do it later in the future. I actually thought that once it develops tap it is incurable or something. Either way i did drop it quite a bit recently and now i am flipping on a mat so that i dont drop it as often and i even tightened the screw and got almost the correct tune.
do you think I should wait a long time to save up for a real kraken or should I get the one from armed shark? I heard its really heavy in weight tho. Im still a bit of a beginner (ik bt8b, helix, fan, half orbit, chaplin, stuff like that) would it be hard to learn tricks on a heavier bali or should I stick with my squiddy u for now?
I mean, it's up to personal preferences at this point. (skip to the end for TLDR) The real Kraken V3 trainer: 4.19 Ounces (about 119 grams) Armed Shark Kraken V3 trainer: 4 Ounces (113 grams) Armed Shark uses the same metal as the real Kraken (7075 aluminum). From my experience, my kraken clone has held up pretty well in terms of tolerances, so I'm guessing the real Kraken could hold up a lot better. Getting a Kraken from Squid Industries themselves would give the balisong a more sentimental value since it's the real thing. I suggest watching Clone Support's video about him comparing the two balisongs if you want to have a clearer idea about which one to choose. Finally, for learning tricks, I think it's best to have a lighter balisong (Squiddy) and a heavier balisong (prob a Kraken) to get used to switching balis. Some tricks are a bit easier on heavier balis, while some are easier on lighter balis. TLDR: Armed Shark Kraken = a bit lighter Squid Industries Kraken = a bit heavier If your budget is short, get Armed Shark Kraken, if you can afford to wait a bit to save up, Squid Kraken it is. I hope this cleared up some things and feel free to ask any more questions if you have any! 👍
Multiple experienced people have stated that the only reason you should buy the real one over this is the logo and resale value. Other than, for flipping the clone is on par with the real thing. The weight has an inaccuracy but it's neither better nor worse. A balisong isn't better just because it is lighter or heavier. Armed Shark is the goat at clones. You should just save your money and get the Armed Shark kraken.
Also, though different weight does result in a different flipping experience. A difference of 0.19 ounces is not going to make a difference in flipping at all.
😮 damn!!!!! That sounds so glassy🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have Carbon Honey Thick now, it sounds even better lol
why does mine AS kraken v3 DOES NOT sounds like this?
which oil did you use? In this video I used "Muck-Off bike chain lube" but right now I use Carbon Honey Thick
@@cubygamez3036 oh,that's probably why my kraken doesn't sound so cool, I haven't lubricated my balisong yet (I
bought it a couple of days ago)

@@x-enophobicrus8338 Yeah, I lubricate it once every 3 to 4 days or so with Carbon Honey
@@x-enophobicrus8338 Carbon Honey Thick sounds a bit better than the chain oil, but for the chain oil I used the Muck-Off wet lube on Amazon
whens the review
probably coming tomorrow
@@cubygamez3036 but wher3 is it
ah it was good while the tune lasted now my AS kraken v3 lost its tune and i have to tune it

thanks for all the help!
How much money is the lube and where did you find it? It definitely sounds great with it in.
It's about $12 USD on Amazon. It's called "Muc-Off wet chain lubricant" It's pretty good honestly
@@cubygamez3036 thanks
did you get it from clone support? cuz i use the same one
I got it from amazon
