If it's still strong at the old position without the removal of the center where the LNB is pointing at, it supposed to get you a stable signal. In most cases, it loses strengths and then shift a bit for the angle where it supposed to get you a stable signal. Check the dish pole and make sure it straight and strong. Most often the problem might be from the dish pole.
