- First time using the new awning/shelter for the van. It was easy to set up and take down, we did move it closer to the front of the vehicle so we had better access to the sliding door. It didn't leak and stayed inflated for the 5 nights we were away.

Looks great. We have a auto home roof tent for our mini clubman and looking for a awning to be attached when we get out of the tent and I think this one will work well.
Thiis hasn't let us down yet. Hope you have some great adventures.

Yeah you can drive away and zip up the side so no hole. We've had this out now in some really heavy rain and it was great. Thanks for watching

Can that be attached to side of van in the ‘awning rail’ rather than go over the top? (It wouldn’t work with a pop top?)
Thank you. It can be free standing so no need to attach to rail. Not sure it would be big enough to go over the pop top but you could probaly make it work.
New awning looks great and makes a huge difference. What's the name of the campsite, it looks great. I've not camped in the Lakes before. I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on.

You could probaly make it work but there is a section that goes over the roof of the van and secures to the ground. Hope this helps.

Just an into and so people can get an idea of how far it is to the lakes from where we live.

It’s on offer at Decathlon UK for £250 at the moment. I’ve just seen one on a French camp site and measured it up against my van, a 2020 Fiat Scudo. Definitely buying one when I get home. Thanks for the review!
