Watched all the 5 episodes of Gora's the explorers. Pakistan is for sure a fun and adventurous place with full of surprises. Anything can happen any time haha. What makes this series even more fun is your sense of humour and sarcasm. Can't wait for the next episode. Loved it so far
@@AsBi1 I wish you the best of luck that you may visit. It, too, is a beautiful country with much variation in scenery. We do have videos of our travels through the US if you are interested in watching.
On the mountain range topic, I can answer to the best of my abilities. But in general it’s arbitrary where one mountain range begins and another one ends, some sources will list pretty much every mountain range from Spain to China running along southern Eurasia as part of a single large transcontinental range, but this is not followed by most geologists. Instead different mountain ranges are determined by their orogeny (how they formed). If two “ranges” were formed by the same event then they’re considered to be the same range, but if they were formed in different orogenic events then they are considered different even if the two ranges connect to one another. So by this definition the Himalayas and the Hindu Kush are part of the same mountain range as both were formed when the Indian Subcontinent slammed northward into Eurasia during the Eocene Epoch. They’re both considered part of the “Greater Himalayas”. Alongside the Pamir, Tien Shan, Kunlun, and Karakoram Mountains. But the distinction is sometimes kept as they did form at different points during the tectonic collision. For example Karakoram formed as the oceanic crust of the Tethys sea was subducted under Eurasia as India approached, while the Himalayas and Hindu Kish formed when two chunks of continental crusts collided.
@bubbalovesoatmealadventure108 I'm afraid I probably have a more discerning (ie "picky") palate than Oatmeal. If she doesn't trust my taste test, she is welcome to fly to Pakistan and find out for herself....
About those 3 mountain ranges at a single point? Well you need to first take into account the big bang theory. Now if you wondered where's the continuity of the ranges? That requires some consideration of geological sciences, too. Mountain ranges are not all the way mountains, there are peaks and meadows and valleys in between. How do we know that it is one similar range? Well that's through the soil type, fossils, fauna, structural formations, minerals contained and other characteristics. Consider it as determining the DNA of the human group. Hope this explains the phenomenon. Happy & safe travels.
I didn't buy it when our guide explained which range was which, only a geologist would be able to differentiate. I was like "Cool, you must be right." 😅
the irony of travelling in a police escort is that your security gets more compromised as you become more conspicuous, with all the police sirens and lights. The terrorists have been targeting Pakistan's security personnel as a matter of their "policy". So, the police are more likely to be targeted by terrorists than average civilians. I am glad all of you were safe.

@mamoonali4563 thank you!. The syntax seems a little odd to my American ears. Are you referring to the scene with the Native American? He's in there strictly as a reminder of our childhood. His commercial is the one that got us to realize the impact people have on the environment specifically throwing garbage on the ground. We really wanted to walk around Ganish Khun and pick up the wrappers and papers off the ground and dispose of them properly.
@flightofthecrowswing No! I referred Indians from India not native Americans red Indians. I meant Pakistan is another state of America due to American influence and pressure. Pakistan is occupied by America without the physical existence.
