- Quick recap: we bought a Harley-Davidson Sportster off of Craigslist. Built it in 72 hours. Threw our buddy Ryan Kibbe (aka Kibbetech) behind the handlebars, and gave him ONE test day on a flat track. PS, he's never raced flat track before. Anyway, after all that, we took the Banana Hammer to the event it was built for: The Born Free Stampede Hooligan race. Will Kibbe qualify? Will it even be close??

He looks good, especially for being his first race! I’m sure if he gets smoother throttle control he’ll be passing everybody. You wanna roll on the gas real smooth and never chop the throttle. When you chop, it will unsettle the suspension mid corner, causing you to let off and get back on the gas while losing your line!

My adrenaline is pumping just from watching this.
I watched most of the replay from the Stampede on YT the day after the race, so I already knew the results. But even though Kibbe did not qualify for X Games, he still ran great. And that lap time was really fast! 11.09
Hell yeah Matt, we were totally blown away by how everything went down. We couldn't be more proud of the entire crew that made this happen.

I watched the whole thing the other night,t 40 years of flatt track right here. First You did great! 2nd avoid "Blipping " roll on roll off, 3rd if the inside line has traction with a couple of slick spots then try going on the slicker part of the track by the end of practice you will be used to it and will have options of carrying your momentum on the faster outside line. Had the dude who passed you on the outside not practiced that during the day I would have been no better at it. Go straight turn left Bitches! You Guys are awesome!
