Polo 6R - Adding motion damper to grab handles

- Here’s a detailed video that shows how to add motion dampers to the internal grab handles for the VW and Skoda cars.
The Polo, Vento, Rapid and even the new Kushaq and Taigun misses out on this small and cheap component, which results in an irritating ‘thud’ sound every time someone pulls the grab handle and leaves it.
I did this DIY on my Polo back in 2015. Check out the clip and let me know if you have any queries or feedback.

And one question I have Polo Trendline 2021 can i install OEM Remote key in it? How much it'll cost me from service centre or if I can buy from boodmo please share part number for it.
Hi Vipin, will make a clip on removing A-pillar shortly. The A-pillar has 3 plastic clips and is prone to breakage if it is frequently removed. Best to plan all the activities together for one time removal. Like dashcam power cable routing, fixing the OEM ticket holder etc.
As for the keyfob, I think the cost is close to 7-8k. Please check with the dealership. I’m not exactly sure of this but it is easily doable. Alternately, check local key vendors. They have all the equipment to make remote keyfobs for all cars.

How long ago did you order these from China? The website has been blocked for a year!
You can still get stuff from Aliexpress. Some ISPs haven’t blocked the website; if it’s blocked for you, try a VPN. Contact the dealer through messages, make the payment through PayPal and the dealer will ship the stuff. Some hesitate due to the ongoing issues but some do ship. I had some spare dampers with me I had sourced before the government blocked the site but a friend managed to source some stuff from Aliexpress this way.

This grab handle is the most distracting thing while driving. Should have bought new grab handle with damper😅. But great content though if someone asks me I will always share this link😊
Hi Samrat, thanks a lot for the feedback man. Appreciate it. I agree, the grabhandle makes quite some noise. I thought the new Taigun/Kushaq/Slavia/Virtus would take care of this aspect but it still continues.

Hi Karthick, will have to check eBay. Dealers from China are registered on eBay too and they may have this although I’m not sure if they ship to India. Will check and revert.

I've a doubt can you please clarify that does the 1.6 tdi has the glow plug pressure sensor in the 3rd cylinder like the 2.0L ones?
I've a error in the dash upon scanning it shows P0673, P0674.
