Normally I prefer Dimension X stories in comparison to X Minus one such as the episode The Knock. But this episode of X Minus One is definitely better than the original Dimension X. This episode and the episode Junkyard are just fantastic. It is so great to listen to the 1950’s Sci Fi. Thank you for posting these episodes. I never get tired of them.

This is actually a great and timely episode. I think I was in my 30's or 40's when it occurred to me that unfettered greed might be what destroys the US in the long run. And it includes selfishness. It may be more complex than that, but maybe not much more. The desire for ever more wealth and power may be the most destructive addiction of them all. Are those addicts ever satisfied? Apparently not.

I'm an insomniac, spent 1000s of hours listening to old radio.
2019 laying with real🤒 pneumonia I discoverd the tube, for many reasons I missed the revolution and basically for over the last couple of years now playing catch up.😬
I get real sick time to time, live in a climate my body hates and can't handle.
Sitting at the Grand🤠 Canyon Feb 2020 coughing blood and infection from actual pneumonia, trying to muster up strength to hike the rim daily.
It took a bit but basically I began to realize all the foreign folks looking at me strange, icky like thought me a disease.
I carry lung disease but its not contagious, 47 years and not once infected anyone.😷
You can imagine what and how I felt during all this.
I was raised by the greatest generation, the folks on these shows.
My boomer brat parents dropped me.
So after my 12 year away, no smarty thing, limited net and I watch old recorded TV 😊
BAM💥 in my face was the loss of real freedoms from fake crap brought on because of the social media that's not so social. Politically driven agendas using fake crap to control people has been a treat as well.🥴
Because of lifetime affair with illness, I know a little and my wife also works at a nursing home. 😵
Those folks really got the brunt but out of sight and mind.

He says all this was familure and he seen it before, heard that word democracy being thrown around and thats facts.
With elections rigged, media shafted and censorship rampant across the land its clearly a diffrent world.😯
