I do hay in real life and I mow it just like you did but when it comes time for a left hand turn. I do a 3/4 right hand turn so I don't miss any hay. I do bale it the same way you do though. Don't forget to bale the grass next to your field you mowed. Then you don't need the buck to haul it. There is a easier way to load the hay trailer also. I seen you tried to get the furthest bale in the right spot from the get go. Don't do that, just set it on and push it over with the next bale. When the second bale is all the way on. Stop. They will then be both in the right spot. The trailer whith is designed to hold 2 round bakes perfectly. Also when you park the trailer. Park it with the tractor up the hill and load the trailer from the lower end first. They will stay right there and straight. Thanks for the awesome videos. Please mention me if you will. I can't wait to see you use a log cutting devise that is not a chainsaw. It is a waste of time cutting a while tree with that. :-)

Just because you don't use trucks on your farm does not mean trucks aren't used for farming, here in the Midwest farmers frequently use trucks to pull tippers next to combines, as well as for pulling livestock trailers, and I'm sure there are countless other uses. You use what you've got
Thanks for the idea of loading logs into the pickup truck! I also found out you can use the bail trailer to load full trees and strap them down. The skidsteer and the log grabber works well enough for loading.
It's called a bale lifter and your supposed to put it flat on the ground then close it pick them up like that 👌great video's i enjoy watching them keep up the good work 👍
Great Vids! You use that grab by scooping the bales up. Like a set of pallet forks under the sides of the bale. Don't squeeze them. Also, you could just nudge the bales over to be able to pick them up.
Daggerwin if you cut a tree straight it will allways fall to your left! Oh and also you can also put logs in the tippers so you can take more wood with you!
Just make the cut "flush" ... if you cut down a tree (big enough), you will see that the game makes the "precision cut" automatically, leaving the "wedge" on the ground ... :)
also take your bail spike, put it through the top of the bail when they are flipped over, and you can right the bail up. but a bail stacker is worth it's weight in gold. it gives you 2 stacks of 4 when full. happy farming!

You can start logging on a very small budget. The DFM3200 three-point mounted saw includes a (not very good) log gripper and is only $5,400. It's a hassle to operate but it is possible to sell long-ish logs.
Hey Dagger, cutting the trees down is easy. Simply cut it at 90 deg, not at an angle (like you insist on doing) and the tree will ALWAYS!! fall the direction the chainsaw is traveling through the tree
Daggerwin, if you don't like the grass destruction just download the no grass destruction mod thats out, its the normal crop destruction but it doesn't destroy grass! :)

There are two nuggets on a little island in the middle of the lake. one is on the gold mine building in town but you need your tuck and park it in front. That bale lifter needs to be lifting the bale from underneath, not squeezing it :). Lower it down 3/4 of the bale height, then bring the tines together under the bale and lift. Also, maybe you should get the soft grips for the bale that are standing on end.
If you buy a log grab for the front loader, you can use a haywagon (logs do strap down) to deliver longer logs for a small investment. This would increase profit since longer logs are worth more $/meter
I wish my chainsaw worked that well in real life. lol That's cool that the game actually let's you use the back of the pickup. Can't say I've ever seen a pickup without a rear window. Although, I have seen one with a metal grate covering the rear window.
When cutting to size , move the wood to the job , don't guesstimate my friend ... So if you lay them across the pick up back just remember cut a little shorter so they will all fit giving you more money per drop ...
Remember how expensive the fields were in FS 2011 and FS 2013 they are kind of back to that level. But just do contracting whenever you are not working on your farm, and it's not a problem.
heres a a tip daggerwin that i found out myself if you put a bag of seed or fertilzer over a trailer it will tip into the trailer as loose seed or fertilizer and then you can tip it anywhere on the ground hope this helped

@daggerwin.when you were putting the timber into the back of the truck you should have put the bigger and thicker logs on the bottom and lighter on top.
to get on top of the grain towers with ladders just walk up to them and keep jumping, one of them has a nice golden surprise on top of it, and maybe a train bridge
When picking up wood from directly from under your feet or near there, you just float up as long as you don't touch any control. I've been 100 meters or so up on a floating log.
I have learned if you bite the bullet and buy all new equipment you will start to make money on your farm! That was my goal for this first week replace all tractors and harvesters because of the maintenance/running cost each day! Running cost was 640, 800, 940, 2400 not good at all, now I'm at 175 240 680!
@Daggerwin Please cut the trees with the chainsaw directly horizontal. That will make the tree fall perfectly towards your left side (where you cut towards with the chainsaw). It will automatically create the wedge cut-out to make it fall the right way.
Dagger. Crop Destruction was updated a while ago. If you use the modhub in game to update it, you'll discover that the narrow(Care) wheels No longer destroy crops or grass.
You bought the wrong implement you should of bought the more expensive one which says "wrapped bale grab" you do make me wonder if ur feeling alright sometimes 😂😂

Daggerwin I found it easier to use the small tipper for loading wood only down fall is that you have to unload the tipper by hand!
