only thing I wasn't sure about in this video is how you let the caliper hang from the brake line. Would have been nice to see you use a metal coat hanger or something from the spring to the 14mm bolt holes to take some pressure off that line. Otherwise, good job

The calioet never hung once from the line. I have hooks for calipers but this one is so light and so many places to put it that it wasn't necessarily. Be sure to like and subscribe for more

I liked this video as I have aKia Optima 2013 and my parking brake doesn’t work and I was going to try to pull the rotor to see what shape the rear brake shoes for the parking brake were in! I just changed my mind, looks like way too much trouble for a guy going on 80! I just assume the shoes are shot as were his!

Hey man, quick question if you go on RB the mechanics TH-cam page and watch his video for a 2013 Kia optima rear brakes…. The control arm bolt comes out on the side of the shocks, and he hast to loosen up the shock to get it out…… on yours. It doesn’t do that lol what’s up with that? Lol…. Just really trying to get my ducks in a row…. I love your video man very informative. I’m doing the brake job next week.

No need to take control arm off. A 14mm box end wrench fits.
