1: Probably Louis mora because he and his crew were the ones that got me into it in the first place and I love the videos they make 2: My favorite trick to see preformed would probably be anything that involves slides because there my favorite to watch 3: My current setup is a target board and the only thing I changed on was the bearings but they hardly spin lol. Have a good day whoever is reading this👍

1.) Probably Tony Hawk due to the games imo (THPS3 is the best out of all of them, you can't change my mind), but I like Rodney Mullen more due to freestyle skateboarding being insane. I mean, freestyle skateboarding is a thing that amazes me, I don't even think I can do any of those tricks that Rodney Mullen does.
2.) Whatever those THPS special tricks were (like *Christ Air* ). They just look so cool, but probably impossible to do. I mean, I was wondering if *Pizza Guy* can be even attempted at all. Other than that, actual tricks that have been done would be probably a treflip or a flip trick over a set of stairs. A big gap over some flip trick like a kickflip is still insane to me.
3.) N/A at the moment, trying to buy one at the moment. Trying to score some money for my board, and planning it to get it mid-July. Trying to get into a new hobby since I'm pretty lazy

    1. You're my favorite skater cause I'm manifesting you giving me this card for a new deck
    2. My favorite skate trick is the one where you do a 360 and give me the gift card in mid air
    3. I have pressure cracks all over my board because I'm constantly bearing the weight of my failures and my fat, juicy ass. My wheels are begging me to skate more, but my board and trucks are in constant agony and suffering. At least with this new deck I can release my old deck from this mortal coil.

  • @RaabStephan

    1. Rodney Mullen, because of his battle videos with Daewon
    2. Not super hard, but I've always liked the airwalk ever since Tony Hawk Pro Skater
    3. Your videos have gotten me back into skating, I actually started uploading skate videos in 2005 or '06 myself (removed by now), but picking up skating after many years. Still deciding on my setup.

1.) Basic answer, Rodney Mullen has been my favorite since I was a kid. I’ve always found his raw passion and love for skating to be infectious and inspiring.
2.) Probably a clean impossible. Learning them has been my biggest skating struggle, but seeing a good one if rad.
3.) currently riding an 8” Creature deck with Ace trucks and 52mm Spitfires.

    1. YUNG WAVY, he's a content creator who predominantly makes tik toks/yt shorts. During quarantine when Covid was in full swing, I had so much free time and wasn't sure what to do with it. Came upon his videos and just got really excited to try and learn something new. Always thought Skateboarding was really cool but honestly was always too scared to learn myself. Watching these beginner friendly shorts and all the positive things that can come from skateboarding gave me the push I needed to start! Plus a good amount of his shorts in general are nice, cinematic skateboarding clips so it's a vibe
    2. Any freestyle tricks. Being a beginner and slowly learning to be comfortable riding/doing basic tricks is already a journey in itself, and seeing freestyle tricks of any sort always boggles my mind. A specific one that I love seeing are spacewalks, which are a probably one of the easier things to learn in that category but they just look so smooth!!
    3. Thought about building my first Skateboard because I could choose a really nice deck that could keep me motivated (found out pretty early that I wanted a smaller deck size) and learn more about the other parts along the way. But after watchin a couple vids here, and the one you made about choosin your first skateboard I became set on going to a local skateshop and havin them help me out. Went with a 7.75 Zero 3 Skull Blood deck (weren't too many options for the deck size there so I decided to channel my inner emo haha) Black grip tape and then everything else were recommendations from the worker but we kept the red and black theme goin! Unsure of what bearings it's rockin but I think they're basic, the trucks are Silver M-Class Hollows in the Slay variant, and they're rollin on Force 53mm Conical Spiral wheels. Definitely shy upon walkin into the store but I can say from my own experience that they are super welcoming! Had a nice chat with them whilst they were building the board. An overall great first experience for sure d(>_・ )

    1. My favorite skater is Andrew reynolds and the reason being is that he is so fluid with his tricks yet in a way he’s robotic because of how his tricks are always so crisp litteraly every single time
2.my fav trick I have landed has to be a kickflip, simple yet satisfying
    3. My current setup is nothing special but it’s just an 8.25 tactics deck with bones wheels krux trucks DLK bones bearings and jessup grip

#1 Versace plug he really up moved the instagram trendy posts and helped up bring more hype for skating and got me into skating and his style is so sick with his late catches and steezy style
#2 mike mo flip definitely it looks so technical and looks so steezy my dream trick and i probably won’t get there in a while
#3 i ride a 9 month old anti hero deck and the tail is square and so short and has lost all its pop then i ride badly flat spotted wheels and independent trucks with busted bushings but my red bearings are holding up just fine and my griptape is still good as i replaced it because it recently fell into a puddle and it lost its grip.

    1) Rodney Mullen. Not the most original answer, but he's been my favorite since I was a kid. I like how innovative he is and he seems like a chill ass dude. 2) Primo Slide. Even though it's not a super crazy trick, it looks dope. 3) I have an 8.5 Creature deck, Ace AF1 trucks, Spitfire wheels, and Reds bearings.
I'm 34 and just started skating last week because my 7-year-old wanted to learn. I used to get those CCS catalogs in the mail as a kid and always envisioned getting my dream board, but my parents couldn't afford it. I eventually thought I was too old to skate, but it's been an absolute blast the past week. 🔥

    2. My favorite "trick" are (nose) manuals because i find them really fun to do and if u land into them with a nollie or something its even better and just looks soo smooth
    3. Its an girl complete with a growing sticker collection and my friends that dont skate unironicaly thought its a skateboard that is meant to be used by a girl only because of the brand lol
    Also congratulations for 5k🥳

    2. No comply fakie big spin. It's just floaty and lazy and I really enjoy weird tricks like that.

    2. Probably laserflip

    1. Definitely Keet oldebeuving or Candy jacobs. They are both such an inspiration for girls that are shredding.
    2. Probably a clean 180 and I love to see it over a hip or to fakie on a bank. Still trying myself tho
    3. My setup is an globe deck 7.5 but I really want to go to an 8.0, wheels are also globe (52mm, 99a) bearings I think are from blue tomato and idk where hardwear and trucks are from. I don’t have that much money so I think this set-up is pretty good for a decent price

Favorite Skater: Mike Vallely because when I first started I would watch a bunch of his videos and I always liked his style. I eventually met him and he was super cool
Favorite Trick: Hardflip, just looks really smooth
My setup is a pretty old skateboard that I got when I was 10, I’m older now and still use the same one so an upgrade would be amazing.

    1. Andy Anderson.
He inspires me to go skating. I wish I was as skilled & in tune enough to improvise half as well as he does.
    2. Really long grinds. They're never boring.
    3. Some old bones wheels, Ritalin bearings, Idk the truck brand and an old Kryptonics deck that was left out in the rain because my old deck finally snapped. So I would absolutely love a new deck with all my heart. ❤️

  • @chef_cooks
    @chef_cooks 2 ปีที่แล้ว

1: Mr. Aaron 'jaws' homoki because I remember a specific video when I was younger of him hucking himself repeatedly off drops. It amazed me because I am a wus when it comes to anything past a 7 stair, and that's now so especially when I saw it the first time it really inspired me to try more stuff and push what my mind thought was possible. He also is a very 'silly' guy (lol).
2.) It's hard to put my finger on my favorite trick to watch, because one of them would have to be a classic aka the treflip which looks amazing and is my favorite trick to do. But I also really love watching people do back 3's down stairs and even on flat. I also quite like dark slides because I always do them in whatever skate game I am playing.
    3. I ride a 8.125 currently but I also ride 8's. My deck if from a local company with the graphic being some pistachios; a local skater dad actually gave me the deck after being impressed by my skating and seeing my battle worn skateboard. I have jessup grip on it because mob is a bit too grippy for me and I haven't tried any others, but on the grip I'm currently riding, I spray painted a stencil of monkey d luffy's flag from one peice on it. I ride thunder lights because I like lighter trucks and I have bones size 52 mm wheels with some random dgk bearings I got on sale at the skate shop :)
(congrats on 5k and the deck looks bomb!!)

    1. Rodney Mullen !!NOT A COINCIDENCE!! you probably expected me to say Tony Hawk (THE GOD) but naw, i love Rodney. Hes helped me with a bunch of tricks, I just watch him for hours at a time trying to be as good as him 😂
    2. The one and ollie (get it) Yea, I love watching people do ollies, they look easy to do but instantly get hard when I try to do them. Maybe a Midnight Snack skateboard will help me ;)
    3. I like to use a 8.5 deck, 159 mm trucks, and 52mm spitfire wheels and my other skateboard uses the bones 52 mm wheels although i like spitfire better. Very soothing and just honestly better using. Wven though trucks and wheels are “alright” my deck isnt entirely that good. I have a massive collection of broken boards because of the cheap quality. Yes, sometimes the trucks and wheels and barrings usually cost a lot and sometimes more than the deck but ive had the same trucks, wheels, etc for awhile as decks are expensive. So a Midnight Snack skateboard will due me “skateboard justice”

    1. When I was kid I was all about big air so Rune Glifberg was my favorite because he just got disgusting amounts of air. This also plays into my answer for question number 2, which if you know anything about Rune you'll know my answer to that question. As an adult I really enjoy Nora Vasconcellos. She's got a very unique style and is max steez at all times.
    2. Christ Air is just the coolest trick to me. I first saw it in THPS and then later when I saw irl it was like seeing it for the first time because real life looks way better than Playstation 1 haha
    3. Current set up is n/a. I found your channel because I'm actually looking to get back into skateboarding, which I haven't done since I was a kid. I'm 37 years old and might be having a midlife crisis? lol Who knows. I know based on my size, I'll end up with an 8.25 deck and will need good bearings to keep all my weight rolling.
