Apple now finally allows us to change any and all notification sounds from any app on your iPhone. This is new to iOS 17.2 and I hope your enjoy!
when i go into the instagram app on the iphone there isnt a way to choose a tone for notifications so i dont know what youre talking about

Thank you! I’m holding my breath now until they allow us to attach a unique alert sound to specific apps. Like I’ve got the spot on for my dog…. So I need a unique alarm to alert me when my dog has escaped. It’s not effective if it sounds the same as insta and everything else. Seems like a simple thing… I hope they make it happen soon.

This works. Update your phone to the newest software. It will be the new default alert but it will NOT be specific…it will be for all default alerts unfortunately You must change this under iPhone settings NOT instagram

you cannot choose for each app a different tone, apple should update that for an option to a different sound for each app, like you said , whatsapp you can choose different notification sounds for each group or contact.. they should change it also for each app, like important apps you put one sound and for less important a quieter one.. just an opinion.

The iPhone is such a sh it that we have to come to watch this kind of videos, I was an Android user, Samsung, everything customisable and in this fuk ng phone I can’t even place the icons wherever I want and the widgets are awful, I already put a sound on the alarm and I have to wake up with an awful sound because it doesn’t make it. And, the camera, is not as good as in Samsung or pixel, iPhone doesn’t even have a “pro mode”
