The good old bowling times, I sure miss these, the sounds of a loud crowd cheering, reminds me of the state finals in the thunderbowl arena, good times
These would be good with sound from the Simpsons dubbed in. Gasps of the crowd for a big split leave and "Doh" when they miss a spare, like chopping the 3 off the 3 6 10
These guys are pros? Maybe they should go back to basic fundamentals and knock off the showboating and the 37 board hooks and their fancy stupid colored oil.
Yes these are pros. Yeah they have bad shots. Guess what? No one is perfect. What do you think they should do? Throw 300s all the time? Guess what again? No one is perfect. We all have missed spares or missed shots. It's the nature of the game.
There's quite a few bowlers with notoriously bad spare-shooting for the pro level. The problem is that most of them decide to still put revs on the ball for simpler spares, rather than going completely end-over-end to avoid hook.
@@TKDBoy1889 that's why ej has and will continue to be one of my favorites. Hell take the ghost let it play every board on the lane or simplify things and throw it straight at a 10 pin. That's versatility and that's how pro bowlers should be
Tyler Stine It’s my first year and I’ve been trying to do it usually works but my coach says stop doing that sand to take a spare ball and do my strike release in then it hooks past the 10 pin
You obviously watch him during the week and not just on the telecast, right? He's actually a pretty good spare shooter who has struggled on TV. Are you so stupid that you actually believe a bad spare shooter could make so many TV finals?
Quit blaming the oil pattern and making excuses for these guys. They're being paid an astronomical amount of money for using $200 glue balls and wearing dumb shirts, not to mention the wireless mikes they all wear. They make more money off the lanes than on. This is an insult to the average working stiff/league bowler. These guys aren't going to do something sensible like roll a urethane ball 16mph up the 10 board, hit the pocket 95% of the time, and make their spares. They have way too much to lose monetarily, so they go out there and make asses of themselves, wearing stupid clothes and missing spares that the 70-year-old guys in my wooden house, handicap B league make almost every time. This is no longer a sport, it's reality tv disguised as professional bowling. It's like wrestling, you have the good guys like WRW and the villains like PDW. The reason these guys miss so many spares is that they don't walk straight and they have to master two completely different styles for strikes and spares. Earl Anthony, Bo Burton and Don Johnson would have destroyed these guys in their prime. Whining, cursing and poor sportsmanship are tolerated by the PBA like never before. And now it has bled over into my own handicap league. I have to listen to 165 avg bowlers bitching about oil patterns and thinking they are entitled to a strike every time they hit the headpin. All I want is to have fun, get a little exercise, and interact socially with my friends. Thanks a million, USBC, PBA, and Fox Sports for helping ruin my fun.
I do agree that the oil pattern shouldn't be blamed. But I disagree with everything else you said. Those "stupid shirts", as you called them, are worn by everybody who is a true competitive bowler. Why? Because the fabric it's made of is able to handle the stretching the body goes through and is specifically designed for that. And these guys are excellent spare shooters. Yes they miss spares sometimes, we all do. But I guarantee you they miss less than even you do. Put them vs you and you would most likely lose. You're so busy complaining that they're complaining when all they do is prove with their bowling balls that they they are so much better. I guarantee if you were put on let's say a US Open pattern you would be in dead last. If anyone takes the fun out of bowling, it's people like you who can't grow up and realize that pros are way better than the average bowler. You're probably the type of guy who thinks the two handed shovel style should be illegal, even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with it (oh and FYI, one handers actually win more than two handers do. I did a study on that. So...two handers don't have an advantage).
You sound like a 165 avg bowler who throws his grandfather's 40 year old urethane ball because he can't afford something made in the last ten years. Grow up
I love how there is whole minute dedicated to Tom Daughtery. The last time that happened was the opening match in the 2013 TOC
2nd match of 2011 TOC*
8:15 how is that a lowlight lol
Brian Farrell Lmao I just noticed
Brian Farrell its a highlight bc he was th only one that got a strike
ryan hammond ok but how is that a lowlight was the question lol
Dapold oh 😂
I guess cuz he was down 56 pins but that’s my only clue
WHAT the hell kind of oil pattern does those lanes have?! I've seen more splits on here than a cheerleader competition!
OK buddy
The good old bowling times, I sure miss these, the sounds of a loud crowd cheering, reminds me of the state finals in the thunderbowl arena, good times
You should make a lowlight of the announcers. They say something weird or they say a bad word ect
I wish the crowd would be quiet lol
Then what's the point of the crowd?
@@Andromeda6789 To watch the game?
These people have bad days.
I have bad games
Including today
5:36 😂😂 Rob Stone
It was painful for me to see bill not get the 300 and to see him lose. When belmo got taken care of, bill was my instant pick to win
Which min of the video?

5:27 another Tom's never ending nightmare starts here
I'm watching this to make myself feel better about how I bowled in league last night
Allen looks like he is about to fall when he throws the ball lmao
Prove that they are human. The average bowler are having a great laugh. Everyone can relate to that. At least you have fun.
I didn't see any bowling lowlights here. All I could pay attention was the lowlight reel that was Rob stone calling bowling shots.
Why isn’t Brad Miller and Kyle Sherman losing on here
It is
I got back into bowling recently. When was this that people in the crowd were allowed to heckle and yell while the athletes bowled?
@ 1:07 I like tht blue an white ball.
No one is perfect.
I made a mistake *once* just to see what it felt like.
I just need a Rob Stone/Tom Daughtery video
2:37, Marshall Kent: “You people really are the worst.”
The Train "You really are the worst" He wasn't talking about the crowd
Thanks for doing this I was just gonna request this
Oh my gosh.
What was the oil pattern the used?

Let's tell Belmonte, the guy with the most wins ever, to go back to fundamentals.
Do you think before you speak?
Butturff is the worse spare shooter on the tour. It’s comical

TKDBoy1889 yah definitely. I feel that his unorthodox release makes it much harder for him. Still a top notch bowler regardless of his spare shooting.

Two handed bowling is for beginners. Better get those guard rails up!
