@Sean Willmond...I had my PBA card for 2 years. I am friends with most of the bowlers that are over 35 and have practiced, bowled league and tourneys all over the country with most of them. And yes, they average in between 235 & 250 in league on the typical house shot. If you read my comment carefully i said what they average in league, not on tour. I know what the average tour numbers are, depending on the pattern. For example: last weeks US Open had the highest numbers EVER for the US Open. Match play alone average was 240+. These guys are machines, very rarely miss. Regular guys watch the shows and think “Hey, I could bowl with them”...no, you can’t...I tried and I’m a good league bowler. Just to get to the final 4 you bowl about 25-30 games, switching pair every game with no practice shots. On tv those lanes change so fast from the balls used, the heat from the lights....then throw nerves on top of that...lol...it’s awesome to see what they do. Enter a PBA national event, not a regional event...you won’t average over 130....I’d bet anything on it...and I don’t even know who you are. Those guys are very, very, very good.
@@seanwillmond700 they would average 250-260 on a house shot. PBA games are played on sport shots, with the most forgiving being the legends oil patterns (eg Don Carter, Mark Roth patterns) but they are still have ratios around 3-4 and is by no means your average house shot
@@TheSarcasticKing99 but its a genuine point. i dont want to watch pros bowl 279-300 with strikes after strikes with ridiculous carry and 10 boards of miss room (an exaggeration, but you get the point). a 140-160 close game with opens and spare shooting to keep the pros within reach of each other is much more exciting. especially with the chance of them making a couple of spare
I wish I started earlier after only bolwing a month i average almost a 200 and im 17 which really sucks because maybe i had a bit of a future if i would have started earlier
I probably would’ve just thrown a plastic from the outside cuz everything was hooking. I’ve bowled on patterns that frustrate the hell outta me before but this looks like a house lane that hasn’t been oiled in weeks.
@@migmag_9789 I actually don't mind burnt up lanes. As a two hander I can tame my hand position play a bit more direct and with all the revs it's fine. I can not stand heavy oiled lanes. 1) my ball speed is too high the ball doesn't hit hook phase. 2) I don't have a low grit sanded ball to grip high oil lanes.
@@kridicalxsi1177 I throw 2 handed with balls that come hard after friction, get one person who fell down and slid on the first 10 feet and the lane becomes worthless for me.
It's crazy how you can go from having an amazing night to an absolutely terrible one. I typically average around 170-200 and 2 days ago I went out and couldnt break 150 once, the lane was just so off and i could get anything figured out.
OSWALDO KATZ it’s because bowling has gotten more difficult in terms of the oil pattern as time goes on. They could easily make any of these on a house shot, but some extremely difficult patterns that just drudge the lane with oil can make even the best of bowlers grovel
Those synthetic pins are so terrible...those might go down in history as the final stupid thing that bowling did to itself to bring about it's own extinction.
1:31 he really said 🗣
LIKE A DOG BARKING LOL
Sounds like my beagle holy shit hahaha
LOL, watching this particular video makes me think I could be a pro bowler now.
You gotta remember these guys average like 220 on sport shots, shit they couldn’t even beat me when I’m on a house shot
Bro, they ave 250+ in league. Look em up on the usbc site. They are ridiculously good and repetitive.
@@one.eyed.racoon6408 the average on tour is 225 so no they don’t average 250+ per game

Watching Buttruff bowl makes my wrist hurt.
We are no longer to call that a bowling game , is called a freak show.
2:49 nioce dab
😂😂😂😂
This looks like a practice session
This is the Bear Open oil pattern for those of you wondering.
It was good to see Ciminelli win again this summer
Agreed!
Which event does he won?
I gotta be honest for a moment. 15 people sitting in folding chairs down the lane looks quite pathetic.
not many people may be able to travel to these events, but live tv matches usually have lots of people surrounding the lanes
Folding chairs? Do your eyes work
Pattern looks hard as hell
Yeah it does if it frustrates the pros it would totally frustrate amateurs
Right , and called themselves a PRO!!!!!!!
I like the ceiling fans installed there.
To be fair, this is how the lanes should be in all tournaments, because A) its more challenging and 2) more fun for the audience to watch!
Ah yes. The joy of watching people struggle

Wow I didn't think I'd see Troup ever get salty, wow.
I can’t wait til I’m old enough to compete in competitions like this! Hopefully I can get parental support for comps like junior gold, etc
Same

I have been looking forward to this video
That angle tho, they really messed up the oil on this

Looks like something Hollywood would write up.
The bowling gods may giveth, but they absolutely love to take away.......
I didnt know Bob Ross was a bowler...
It’s too tough to adjust this lane.
I almost feel better about my 140 average when I see pros miss the same shots I miss ;-)
This pattern is actually hell, it looks like me playing at 11pm on a busy Saturday without any new oil

Oh damn
Doesn’t look very “little” tbh
Oh my fucking god😂😂😂

why did everyone do bad on those lanes XD
Bowling path still grease with not good an oil is ball
Remember like a month ago I said you should do pba gutter balls and you said there’s not enough?? Well I think you might have enough now lol
Yes 😂 i listened bRehh
The lanes seem to be the problem
Any chance u know what pattern this is
Its the lane problem
2-handed bowlers look so silly.
Sure. Sean guttered it at 0:53, but I think the real lowlight is his erection right there

What's up with Bob Ross Jr?
Mark Johnson that’s what I call Troup Lol
You're an idiot 😒😒😒

I thought Bob ross said he will never scream again, til that that 2 pin stood up 😆
Anyone know the oil pattern they're playing? Never seen such bad luck.

What the hell is up with these lanes???
The size of the lane is too small
