I got the SCT version of this for $11.10 on Temu. I couldn't believe it showed up. But I'd be lying if I said it was junk. 50 mph and INDESTRUCTIBLE. It took over 50 batteries of concrete abuse without breaking a single part. Finally, after about 60 packs, all the electronics started dying one by one. And I gave it up and let the bearings rust. Needs a full rebuild now, but since I only got it for $11 I didn't feel like spending money and time on a rebuild. Still the most insanely durable RC I've ever driven. Indestructible until the electronics had enough
@Rek_Rc yeah it was 1000% I saw an Ad on Instagram. It was an "Invite a friend and get 90% off" deal. So I invited my mom, used one of my spam emails, and boom. 11 bucks, bought it and it arrived about a month later. I couldn't believe it
This SCY rc chassis gets re-released every month or two with a different body. Same chassis...same practically everything. They keep sending them out to YT'ers for free and said YT'ers act like they are the "newest and coolest" brand A killer on the market. When the reality is that the steering servo usually dies in just a few runs, the shocks are garbage, and the hardware is all super soft phillips head screws. All issues that never get covered. The good thing is that the plastic is pretty high quality and rarely gives you issues.
On my MJX Ive gone through 6 sets of diffs including steel upgrade, 3 spur pinions, this SCY drive train is way better and stronger had more batteries through with no problems at all. I think it's an Mjx killer.
Most people replace the shocks, and garbage tires on any of the cheaper Chinese RC's anyways. If the servo goes out as quick as you say, replace it with a new one. Pretty simple RC stuff that goes with the hobby. For the price they are great performers and super fast which is what most people are looking for. I think HBX may still be a little better personally but the price also reflects that. I don't think YT'ers are lying when they say they are a MJX killer though. Personally I love all the variants and hope they keep coming out with more.
The internals look like a Q901 brushless. That's not a bad thing because the Q901 is a nice truck, and it should mean replacement parts are easy to get. I'd still take an MJX for off-roading though. The weight, power and oil shocks make it better.
They're so cheap, I got both 😂. The MJX has a great scale feel off-road, the JJRC is an amazing skate park basher. 1/14 oil shocks fit and make it even better. Careful putting big wheels on it though, it can bend the drive shafts.
I just bought a 1/10ish "LEGENDARY THUNDER" 😅 Least I've ever spent on a RC Car 114$ and was just informed I could have used the coupon and got it for 80$ , these Budget Bashers are awesome! FTW! Crazy smiles per mini mile! Handling is great 👍 cheap as fk! And plenty of upgrades available, for (Wish I knew, I was a gift from my fiance, you know, us RC guys get all the girls! 😅😅😅 ) 80 freaking bucks! Sometimes Chinesium isn't so bad! 😂
@@Rek_Rc I gotta say, I love this piece! I still love my rocket ship 2WD Slash! But nothing like a great budget basher! Especially when it doesn't cost much

WOW that's got to be the best RC deal I've ever heard

I’m seriously impressed at how durable and fast this RC is and it’s priced right. Not bad for a Temu buy. It’s a basher and not a bank breaker. 🤘🏻
These scy / jjrc cars are the best budget bashers for the price and the are really durable
They are tough and fast little things
I can’t believe that it stayed together on 3s!! Wow! It looks like it would kick a little butt on the dirt diamond too!!
I'm curious to race it against bigger name brand cars on the dirt.
@@Rek_Rc sounds fun!

@@MrIgnorant69 yeah... I've had 3 MJX Hyper Gos. And over 30 stripped gears in total. Between diffs, input gears, and spur gears. I'm done with MJX

Nice! I kinda like the funky 90s paint job, too!
Yep, I love the body
I have some Cars from Temu JJRC ZLL And Woww Amazing cars soo much smile on the Mile And💰💰💰💰 Thanks for sharing 🙏
"Tado look!"
Tado over there jacking into the matrix.

Good quality video buddy. I appreciate the effort.

The MJX is a little better off road, they don't cog as much. But this little thing is a ripper everywhere else!

JJRC really nice RC car for nice price 🙏 Keep the god work up my fellow Rc friend 😁 Keep Smiling 😁
We sure will! Thank you!
Just in case you were wondering, the cog is in the ESC :) no cog on hobbywing max10 60a
I could see that now that you mention it, 35a ESC doesn't have quite the jolt
Killer wall ride! This joint looks awesome. I got the Mjx and for some reason this one looks better except for the shocks
Yep, the shocks are the one thing that holds it back a little.

What exact 2S battery from amazon would you recommend for this truck?
I believe it came with one of I remember correctly, I gave that truck to someone so I can't remember exactly
@@Rek_Rc Got it. Is there a brand you would recommend? There are so many choices on Amazon.
Did you use 3s throughout the video or 2s as well?
They are just MJX from sister company
They don't share any parts in common. Totally different chassis, shafts, power systems and so on.
oil shocks and this thing would be over the top!!!
Agreed
Friction shocks, yuck other then that good cheap RC
Those shocks are really the only draw back at that price.
Tell us in kmh not in mph because most people live where we us kmh just saying that's all if not tell us both then
In this case, it's 83 Kmh
That is far from an MJX killer
In speed and handling, it is.
@@Rek_Rc Don't forget price...
