Tayo you're such a brilliant story teller, you take us on a journey even with the simplest of stories. I don't think you actually realise this. One would swear you went to school for this, definitely the best in Africa🙌 Keep up the amazing work
Tayo when you are in the subway, don't stand too close to the yellow line, some crazy people walking about in the subway. Sometimes you hear stories of people being pushed into the track
Go ahead with your dreams, and don't you allow anyone or anything to discourage you. Everyone's journey/destiny differs. May the Lord order your steps. Amen.
I would not want to live in NYC, but to visit is great time. Make sure to visit the boroughs outside of Manhattan, you will see a more authentic New York, where you will see a middle class.
"No one is in the middle here, It s either they are sad or extremely happy"; that particular line brought back the memory of a Will Smith movie 'The Pursuit of Happyness'
I fondly remember my trip to NYC in the summer of '08. Best thing was being randomly invited to be in the audience of David Letterman, fulfilling a dream of mine.
Funny how we're raised with this aspirational culture where you want choice real estate in the most valuable part of town, own the most expensive toys and gadgets. Yet when you acquire all of it, you begin to wonder - what is it all for? You own the most spacious property in the best part of town, yet you're lacking human connection. You're constantly surrounded by staffs who wish they were you, yet you're the most lonely. All the money, yet there's only so much food you can eat at once. You can only ride in one vehicle at once. You can only sleep in one room, on one bed at once... It's nice to be good at what you do and for the market to reward the value you bring. Just remember to treat people with kindness on the way. Because at the end of it all, it's the relationships we nurture and the lives we touch and influence for good that count.
Awesome video as usual. I get it, as a resident of Maui. Establishing yourself can be difficult but work pays cost of living. If you're living the life you love, live on!!
I can't skip a second watching uncle Tee videos even if is a 2 hours video I've to watch every second to the end. The edit, the explanation they're just so compelling. Thank you Uncle Tee for showing us what the world looks like
Speaking of the architect, Sir David Adjaye, I hope that you get the opportunity to see his design work on the National Museum of African American History and Culture. This unique building is situated in Washington DC; Sir David Adjaye included design features, on the outside, to reflect West Africa, the area from which our enslaved African ancestors came to the New World of the Americas and Caribbean.I live on Long Island, a suburb of NYC but I worked in Manhattan for over 35 years. We come in, during the festive seasons, for the theatre, shopping, St Patrick's Cathedral etc.
This is my favorite TH-cam channel. Watching documentaries on this channel makes me feel inspired, motivated and educated. Thanks Tayo. Keep doing the good work. Regards from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱
I remember walking on the glass at sky view observatory in Dubai , men it's very scary. At first I put one foot and thought I couldn't do it , then sat and crawled before I could finally walk. It was at that point I knew I can overcome any fear in this world. I am glad I got to experience it.

New York sounds like a cool city I would love to visit one day… Tayo you’re doing well showing us round the world and places I would love to visit.. thank you. Guys get Tayo to 1M subs
Today,My brother told me about tayo aina's TH-cam channel and i subscribed immediately, I'm not disappointed with all the videos I've been watching. The one i loved most is "24hrs with Davido" 😊
Nigeria, a nation of vibrant and resilient people, deserves a strengthened passport, earning visa-free access to more countries, recognizing the nation's greatness and the valuable contributions Nigerians make globally.
You’re so right about the Lagos thing. If you’re from Lagos, you would want to live in NYC due to the same energy they both have (hustling spirit and networking) but paying that much for an apartment is just too much. I’ll rather buy a house in the suburbs of NJ and drive an hour to NY when I need to, then you can have that balance. Love the video ❤
I live in NYC and I find it crazy that people are praying to GOD to move or come visit here. If you are not RICH, it is not as fun as you think it is...the biggest benefit is the constant amount of inspiration you can get from around you. And it's very difficult to make friends here if you haven't had the ability to make them from school or a common work. People are always busy and when they DO make plans, they will always reschedule. Don't come over here to have a regular 9-5. You need a plan of success. Always chase your dreams.
Tayo, rather than renting an apartment in the financial district at $30K per month, buy yourself a BROWNSTONE in Harlem or Bedford Stuyvesant, or if you can afford it Brooklyn Heights - a neighborhood that overlooks the Hudson River as the river meets the East River and flows into the Atlantic Ocean. There are parks in the areas I suggested and neighbors in the neighborhood. The financial district becomes a ghost town after work hours and on the weekends.
What they don’t tell you about Wall Street. Wall Street is named after a wall built by enslaved Africans in the 17th century. Dutch settlers in New Amsterdam (now New York City) constructed the wall as a defense against potential attacks. Enslaved people not only built the wall but also rested against it during breaks, which contributed to the area being referred to as "Wall Street." Over time, the wall was dismantled, but the name remained as the area became a center for trade. The street also played a role in the buying and selling of enslaved people, tying its history to the transatlantic slave trade.
Hey TA, I just subscribed to your TH-cam channel with all my family TH-cam accounts just now and will do more and I hope you get to the 1,000,000 subscribers before the year runs out by God’s grace . I’ve been a follower since 2020 and I love your content so so much and I love you too ❤
That was really a very well rounded tour I loved it. I remember my first "Rolly"/Rolex they are notorious for being 1 min off and that drove me crazy! 😂 I call them emergency funds.
Any time i watched your video, i really got inspired, there's so much to learn! Love your story telling technique! Thanks for always taking us round the world!
The other day I was watching a money coach, he simply said go where the actions are taking place and new York got this big actions. Definitely would love to move in at New York
Great video! NYC is so crazy expensive! We recently stayed a weekend before going overseas and it was a very expensive stopover! Crazy how much those street vendors are spending to park there!
Great video Tayo. I'm not sure if you noticed, but you need to clean your camera lense or get it serviced. I can see dust./ fungus spots on the right side of some clips throughout the video.
Well Tayo, it's worth it if you have stayed in a place Like Lagos... Where your purchasing power determines where you live. Great video... You've given me something to dream about.
