i made my progress the last years in ue 4.27 now im thinking to switch to at least 5.3+. should i :O? or it is worth still dev in 4.27. thanks for your nice videos, it kept my lib alive :D. Ok i just read some Thread and now kinda want to stay 4.27
hmmmmm. yes i saw many cool things on 5.x but the last thread which i fastly researched where complaining about crashes and in generall performance issues. and some were happy to stayed to 4.2x
@@svens3722 look at the features and see if you need any. if not then just stay with what you are using rn. 4.27 is pretty stable, 5.5 definitely is not. 5.4 is more stable in that regard. few people i know remain on 4.27 due to custom tools and closing in on release dates so there is no point but if you're currently not working on a production title then just have a look around rlly. and maybe another thing to consider would be market asset support, most new assets only really release for ue5 nowadays so if you use the market a lot then thats another thing to consider
I don't really understand why fab gives free content in 1st half of the month and different free content in 2nd half of the month, I wasn't able to get good assets in time😢
Fab is weird, it’s totally broken my normal routine for getting the free content.
yes, thet totally fkd up with fab and also free content get worst
It's true, I'm not a fan.
I don't find it that bad
At first I had some problems but it's pretty got for me
I don't think it deserves this much hate
Yeah fab is so bad it has totally cured me from scrolling the marketplace and regularly spending money on packs for game projects.
@@killerunny1754I don’t think it’s hate it’s genuine dislike for a service that inst better then it’s predecessor
I was making a gta clone and the modern house asset will be a perfect save house for the player

stay at 4.27 and use LOD instead of nanite/lumen. If you want to upgrade, upgrade it to 5.4 only

Just out of curiosity, do you mean *orka?

I agree. Their reasoning is so that “more sellers” can be featured. But its stupid because they could just have all 6 be featured for the whole month.
need really some solid animation packs on these free assets AI cant do good yet and they're not really cheap if we were to buy 🤧😬
Are These All 100% Copyright Free?
yes
They fall under the epic / fab EULA. Read and understand them
@@realadnohdoesn’t help. It’s all broad legal talk
once you claim them, you are free to use them in your games or projects
You can't use it on your commercial project, just personal project (a portfolio of you're environment artists)
A bit of a letdown, for me personally
