The best moment of the 2023 Los Angeles Chargers season was them firing Brandon Staley after Week 15 after losing 21-63 to the Raiders. 😭😭💀💀
In less than a calendar year, the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos all fired their head coaches, and Staley was somehow the best of these three coaches. That’s just sad, and a huge reason why the Chiefs have dominated the division.
Plus they even fired their GM Tom Telesco
As a life-long Chiefs fan, this brings a smile to my face. I just wish it wasn’t the Raiders who scored all those points.

@@johnhiltz5993Staley was very found of putting our defenders 15 yards off the ball. If you want to see a GREAT example watch the lions game where the lions needed just 7-8 yards to get into field goal range and Staley had the DBs all 16 yards off the line of scrimmage 💀

It is scary how closely this mirrored my reactions for the entire entire season

In less than a calendar year, the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos all fired their HCs. Somehow, Staley was the best of these three, and McDaniels was not the worst of these three.
No wonder they’ve all failed to slow down the Chiefs recently.
Man I remember the two years ago where everyone was thinking the afc west was going to be a bloodbath division, crazy seeing just how much the three teams just messed everything up.

It's the Patriots AFC East all over again. A very good team that can coast the regular season to a high seed due to a weak division that rarely produces a real challenger.
Honestly, their all just as bad as each other. McDaniels screwed a team that had/has a huge amount of talent. Staley was, well, this video explained it and Nathaniel Hack-my head off-ett lost so many easily winnable games because he had the brain of a squirrel. And now the Raiders had a pretty decent season with a new head coach. The Chargers have shown promise in the past even with Staley and the Broncos beat the chiefs and nearly made the playoffs with Payton. I’m not sure how great the Chiefs will be this year

Khalil Mack had a 6 sack game and I don’t even remember it? That’s weird. I’ve never forgotten Derrick Thomas’s 7 sack game.
It was O'Connell's first NFL start, he was only named the starter over Hoyer in the middle of the week, and by all accounts Josh McDaniels was trying to prove that the rookie wasn't ready to start.
So, no adjustments to a convoluted playbook (even though O'Connell didn't practice as a starter much), and McDaniels's play calls did basically nothing to stop Mack from bulldozing the quarterback all game.
It's actually kinda weird that that game was even close.

As a Chiefs fan, I love that every team doesnt care about thier own season, only what happens to the Chiefs. After the 80s and 04-12 it feels good being the bad guy
