Loved all the discussion about George Macdonald and Carl Jung. Two fascinating men in their own way. Great conversation

I can't relate to the enjoyment of opera, but the discussion from dreams to the origins and development of jewish myth is healing to my soul. I needed to hear the discussion because it's nearly impossible to carry a conversation like that with my peers and family. Thanks to both.

Thanks. But give opera a chance-English, French, and German, that is-as it’s dreaming and myth in another mode.

Besides the delightful conversation I'm here for the references, I've picked up so many great books listening in.

Can't help it. Charming women bring out my inner rogue (who used to be my outer rogue, when I was thirty years younger, considerably more fit, and had a head of hair).

Opera productions have become so prurient that even Mozart hasn't escaped these preverted salacious post modern indulgences.

Ah, the things modern directors do to classical plays (and especially operas) borders on... rewriting the plays.
