I’m finally ready to take the plunge and start my online private practice. I’m waiting for insurance credentialing to be done by mid July. I have my website which I built myself using Squarespace. It’s nothing fancy. I have decided on a simple name for my LLC. I am about to apply for my EIN and pay for LLC using Legal Zoom. I have my EHR that I am trying out for free for 30 days. I’m also going to try Therapy Notes using your offer on other videos free for 2 months? I believe. So all my ducks are lined up. Your videos have given me the boost I need to go for it! Thank you 🙏🏽 a million times ❤️😍
This is such fantastic information! It is exactly what I need right now as I am in the very early stage of preparing to start my own practice. What amazes me is that you provide this information along with info in all your other videos for FREEE! While many people on these platforms in a variety of industries are charging 100'S AND 1,000'S OF DOLLARS for their tips and "trade secrets." You are very generous! I hope you continue to experience much success in all your endeavors. :) Thank you.
@learningasIGo YOU can say that again because I have fallen into the trap of spending to get information, but I try my best to educate myself in general which can be time consuming and still miss the nail....BUT these videos are a true blessing honestly.
Great content Marie. Good tips to start a website from a technical point of view. I haven't found many videos talking about the strategic point of view of how to build a therapist website, which is why I recently published a video on the strategy behind building a good therapy a website if someone is interested. I'll definitely recommend your videos to a few therapists in my network who are just starting. Your videos are very informative & well made!
Thank you so much for your youtube and site! I've been listening to your videos on my hour long commute to my hospital job (that is wearing me out) for the past couple of months and I'm finally getting going with my website and getting excited about being my own boss sooner than I could have imagined. I hopped on here for a quick video because I knew it compared website builders and hosts. Now back to your website training! :)
Your videos have been a life-saver in starting my private practice. I know you said you use WordPress for your website. Which template did you end up choosing? Or do you have any recommendations on templates you found fitting for therapy practices?
Thank you so much for this video! Question... I have not yet gotten a business license but I'm interested in developing my practice website and purchasing a domain name. Which should I do first? Thanks!
Hey Marie! You may have spoken about this in another video but I'm wondering if you have any advice about using Simple Practice's website builder or not? Would you recommend using a website builder like this over using Simple Practice's feature? Thanks so much!
Thank you for the information. This video is a little dated. Do you still make the same recommendations? Did you stick with wordpress for your website? Thank you!
Would you say it's still worth having a website if you're still learning more about your niche? Should someone only have a website if they know exactly what they want to do or can it be changing over time?
Hi, Jeremy! A website can help you find and understand your niche. When you build your website, you put pieces of information that reflects your work and your target audience, right? Since you have it, you can advertise on Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, SEO to validate it. Analysis if users convert into new patients and if the value from new sessions are bigger than the value invested... if yes, so you got it. If no, change your segmentation rules from paid campaigns and your website content until you get qualified leads. It makes sense for you? Sorry for my English... I'm a digital marketer from Brazil trying to learn English hehe Call me if you need help with that. I can help you and you help me improve my English conversation. hehe my website: strides.digital
There shouldn't be a fee! I just double checked. Are you going to www.namecheckr.com ? There shouldn't be a fee to check if the domain is available. However, the fee definitely will kick in once you take the plunge to buy the domain name, regardless of what company you choose to buy the domain from.

Should websites be hipaa compliant as well?
Should I develop a website before getting on insurance panels?
Thank you so much for this video! Question... I have not yet gotten a business license but I'm interested in developing my practice website and purchasing a domain name. Which should I do first? Thanks!
Great information! Thanks for sharing!
Quick question. What about HIPPA compliance for websites? Thanks for your time! -H.S.
Love this information!
Have to search more, didn't get what's 'domain'. Lot of technical words to catch up. Thank you.
am sort of confused; which one do you recommend for PP to start with which has less cost and good quality.
Thanks 🙏 😊 🙏

I am checking in with namecheckr to see if anyone else is using my website name. There seems to be a fee for this service. Is this always the case?
