To get into the gbb you need to upload a wildcard video of you beatboxing your routines and then the judges pick the best ones ... that video shows who got in the GBB2020 (cancelled because of covid ).
Codfish and D-low used to do some COD beatbox lobby together in the past when that was still a thing. So they'd known each other for a long time, even before they start appearing in Swissbeatbox's videos and tournaments.

CODFISH WASN'T "BETTER" 2018 THAN 2019. He came hard in to the international game in 2018 for this GBB18, after not having much of an international name (rather than millions of video views on his own channel, which is awesome!!) This was his first BIG INTERNATIONAL batlle event and he came strong, undertaker and with some new stuff and he showed us where he belongs. 2019 people were already in the know of his capabilities and craftmanship. Toma was the undertaker of 2019 and came strong and Codfish lost. He didn't get worse in a span of a year. No way. Lol all the love to opinions tho haha 😂❤
And mate, if u step into asian culture even a bit u get to know that the people there use masks daily to avoid spreading possible illness and for not hailing in all the bad, polluted air there is. (especially in China etc.) And thats how its been for a looong time.
Third of all, when the asian guy, BATACO, is putting up 2 fingers, he states his opinion of Codfish doing the same sound/rhythm twice. Since the battles are all about bringing new stuff to table, (and musicality and creativity and...) using a same sound/combo twice (or more...) doesn't really add up on as of a good show off for you haha.
