Avonlea is very comforting, the DVDs soothe me at bedtime.
You can watch it over & over and it's all good.
Like little house on the prairie only way better.
Disney needs to replay these on TV.

I really wish that children of today had shows like this to watch. I live in the southern part of the United States so I don't know if there shows like this that are in Canada butt there's nothing like this in the US. I honestly think it would be much more enriching television then the stuff that the kids watch today down here.

Anne of Green Gable is a very beautiful film made from the game of two young people and all the environments as described in the book are quite authentic and masterful, I like Marrilla too
