My constant fear is that Dallas spreads into my yard so I'm looking for any and everything to get rid of it besides glyphosate. So far we're winning the battle on everything except Dallas grass. I highly encourage it this product and the size makes perfect sense for the home user.
Application rate works out to 3/4th a teaspoon per gallon (3.7 grams). Get a cheap set of measuring spoons and scoop a level 3/4th a teaspoon, easy work...

I tried it and definitely kills many weeds i wasn't able to control. but ,i ran out of Celsius so didn't cover all my grass, what i found the area i sprayed Celsius,the st Augustine grows 1/3 rate of the area not sprayed, it affected the growth somehow ,after one month still growing slower.
How hot is too hot to apply this? I am in the desert and the average temp has been about 105 and on some days gets up to 115. Also I have seen others mix with "Speed Zone" for broader coverage. Do you discourage this practice?
I added left over Image Southern Lawn Weed killer about a week ago while waiting for the Celsius to arrive to some of my lawn. Can I add the Celsius on top of the Image Southen Lawn Weed killer?
Use this on my backyard without surfactant and did the job but had to use a lot of Celsius. Did the front yard with surfactant and did just as great of job with way less Celsius needed.
So if I spray this sucker on my st Augustine grass over areas of opportunistic Bahia grass sprouts I should be able to kill of that Bahia grass in my st aug??? I’m ecstatic if so.
Will Celsius be effective in the late fall on a Bermuda grass lawn. The Bermuda grass was newly seeeded in April. It did pretty well until the drought so I’m having problems with Dallas and crabgrass, but want to kill it before winter.
Go to the store and get Image for Southern Lawns - it's the same as what professionals use and it's available to us homeowners. It has a purple top and can be found at Lowes and HD.
it's best to not mow 2-3 days prior to application so the weeds don't get cut off. You want this product to contact leaf surface so it can absorb and cutting first will remove some of the leaf surface. that's why they want you to not mow 2-3 days in advance. hope that helps!

@@theoiv thanks def gonna give it a try bee using store bought stuff and tenacity with no luck. Have you tried using atrazine to kill the Dallas grass

It seems like a great weed killer to use. The one thing I like about it is that you can use it in higher temperatures, and it will kill chamberbitter.

Surfactant doesn't really hurt it, it's an option you can add but I have found it isn't needed.

I mowed two days prior. That way the weed is actively growing and will suck the poison better
Good point. For me I kept it long so I could tell where the weeds are. Will try cutting them high next time

Yes good on Floratam and doesn't have the same heat restrictions as Image.

Yes it will work if night time temps are staying over 55. It will be slow though.

Leave it long enough to kill root then scrape away dead weeds and fill (bigger) bare spots with sand and potting soil/fertilizer mix
