The thing he said is that Marzia and him did NOT share many interests at all to begin with, they built shared interests throughout the relationship. Marzia influenced Felix with her passion for creepy-cute things and style, and Felix influenced Marzia with the videogaming and other things. That's what he said was wrong, because you said that he made videos about his interests and those interests attracted Marzia because she shared them, she didn't, she just thought he was funny and cute. Also the subs thing and the fame thing obviously.

@Jak Kaj I agree with the original comment but the commenter left out the most important part: felix said he was wrong because Anthony based almost all his points on the fact that Marzia started as a fan before they began dating. He was wrong because Felix didn't have a large following, and Marzia wasn't a fan before their first encounter. This probably doesn't make sense but I tried my best to explain it 😂
They had in common the fact that they are both introverts and Pewds agreed to that cause he said he was not a party guy and he used to think he should be.

I guess just to add to the conversation, Pewdiepie started off playing games and still does now from time to time but for the most part, he's a youtube personality. He makes videos which expresses who he is in order to entertain his fans. Another thing to remember is the culture around pewdiepie which is an online culture built on memes, gaming, trends, millions of other cultures and micro-cultures etc, and it's something which exist today that never existed in the past which is why it might be difficult to understsand for an older generation person who does not participate in it.
The internet today works as like one big inside joke which I guess you can call memes. Pewdiepie stands at the top the youtube realm and is quite well known and influential as you can see from the pewdiepie vs t-series event which demonstrates his potential to influence over the youtube market. Other realms within online culture can include gaming cultures, reddit, tiktok, other social medias i.e twitter, instagram and they all kind of bleed into each other fundamentally in significant ways but also hold their own space respectively.
My key point to this discussion is that from the point of view of the past, yes pewdiepie might seem like a nerd and unattractive to cool people, but what has changed today is pewdiepie IS the cool people. Being cool today means being confident in yourself and being able to express yourself and hold your ground. The reason this works is because the internet is all about ADUDIENCE. This is something people are beginning to learn and whether people are able to do it themselves are not, they are DRAWN to likeminded individuals who are able to freely express their individuality. This is also why I think what Anthony teaches is so important. That idea of being yourself and expressing yourself is so important in it's own right but is even more important now more then ever in regards to forming connections.
The way we do things is different but who we are as people has stayed the same for millions of years and will continue to stay the same for millions more.

Pewdiepie said you were “wrong” because you stated the idea that Marzia was interested in Felix as his fan, on the premise that he was a well know personality when they first started talking. At the time, Felix was selling hotdogs and barely had 1,000 subscribers. He was not interacting with a fan. The way you talked about their conversation made Felix seem like a creep who flirted with fans because he knew he was famous. If someone watched your video without knowing Felix, it would’ve slathered his name and the viewer would’ve had the wrong idea about him. This is why Felix said you were “wrong”, you spent so much time basing your lesson on something incorrect. He never said your lesson was incorrect, in fact he agreed with you. I also want to add that Felix wasn’t triggered about everyone not liking him. I hope this cleared some stuff up :)

Yeah. Also they met through a mutual friend. She told them about one another, sent Marzia one of Felix's videos and sort of set them up to start talkin online. I remember Marzia speaking on this in detail. That's why she hit him up, not cuz she was just a fan.

felix does agree with what you say it's just the context of their relationship that was off. you said that he had 1mil subs when he actually had 1k (and was most likely a broke drop-out selling hot dogs on the street at the time) and you said that they bonded over similar interests when in reality there wasn't initially much to bond over. basically the knowledge and advice you went over was great but it didn't totally match up with the context of how they met. He met Marzia because a friend of her told her about his videos. She wasn't really into games but she thought that he was cute and funny so she send him a message. (They said that in a past video)
As someone who has watched Felix for almost all of his TH-cam career thus far, I think that when he says you're wrong, he's talking specifically about him and Marzia's relationship, not about your points. He has always been adamant about the fact that when they started talking, they didn't know they had much in common. However, they were drawn to each other and in their relationship they found the things they shared in common, and shared their interests with one another. He agrees that your advice is great advice, but I think he's just saying that he wasn't really doing that, and that their relationship started without that, and the fact that they liked so many things together was a "happenstance." He also was probably just a little displeased with the thought that someone thinks Marzia was a fan-girl of this big, popular TH-camr, when he wasn't that famous yet. He attributes a lot of fame and success to her, and I believe that to him, thinking she was a fan-girl takes that away from her; which, as all extreme "19-year-olds/brofist army members" know, is something he feels strongly about, as Marzia truly is the love of his life and is someone that is always there for him, and that he will protect at all costs.
All in all, I watched your video before Felix reacted to it, and I liked it. I thought it was nice that you recognized the difference in the relationship between Marzia and Felix versus Mike and Lana, as they are VERY different, and Marzia and Felix are usually considered the golden or royal couple of TH-cam. Mike and Lana's relationship is similar to Marzia and Felix's in the sense that their personalities go together. However, I think people, meaning those that are part of the brofist army, are a lot more sensitive to Marzia and Felix's relationship, as almost all of us don't know or can't remember PewDiePie without CutiePie.
Also, last thing, I think Felix 100% isn't mad at you or angry. As you said, he roasts a lot of people a lot harder, and usually he does it out of fun and games. He doesn't in any way consider himself to be perfect, and the only people he ever really has trouble with are the people that are *cough cough the Pauls cough cough* actively benefiting from acting crazy, dare I say stupid, and he feels aren't making "real content." Again, this is all from my perspective, but I've watched him for like a decade now, and I'd hate to see you, Anthony, feel like you're being attacked or anything like that. Personally, I think you're really brave to make a video about Marzia and Felix, as it could've backfired and people could've started doxxing (hoping that this hasn't happened). Again, I loved your video, and I totally get your "leaning over your fat" situation lol.

@Jonoxes also, Anthony assumed that pewdiepie and Marzia bonded over their similarities like gaming, anime, and such. But that's not true, they just talked to each other because they had an attraction to one another. And the rest is history.
@Jonoxes Though people may not have the same hobbies and interests, all of those are at the end of the day are a learned behavior and can change. So once you love someone, your hobbies and interests may change with the person you are with. Anthony was trying to say that, to have a good relationship, you must share common interests and characteristics at the start of the relationship, which is simply not true at all. That's was where pewdiepie and I disagreed with Anthony. Pewdiepie and Marzia had nothing in common but the fact that they liked each other. And as you yourself said, they grew to have common interests and hobbies. Not because they had the same interests before, but grew out of their old interests to accommendate the new interest of their partners. That's what love does to people, it changes you and your perspective of the world. Anthony was giving the advice of "date people in your circle to avoid unnecessary conflicts" and pewdiepie was saying "Date whoever you want but make sure that that person is someone who you believe will be your true love"
I've been watching Pewds for a long time now and trust me. Pewdiepie was not really offended by what you said. I think he was just disappointed that you were not informed about the history of their relationship and you made a message based on that misinformation. hey dude, no need to be too self conscious from his reaction to your reaction. it's all just for content, I think he plays up whatever reaction for the entertainment value and he didn't seem to take it negatively. be confident.
Yeah felix is super dry sarcastic. But he is always open minded, genuine, and sees the other side of things behind all his entertainment sarcastic side.
As an aside, Anthony is strong in himself IMHO.
There were two main things that you got wrong and thats why he said that. 1) He didnt like you hinting at him being famous and dating his subscribers like some asshole. 2) his personality. Pewdiepie is a internet persona and not his true personality. He is entertaining people. He doesnt act like he does infront of the camera in real life 24/7. And it actually caused him a great deal of stress of pretending to be happy all the time. One of my favorites videos he’s done is called “forced positivity on youtube” you should check it out.

More often than not, the only reason a relationship like that would be formed would be because the person is famous and the other person admires them in some way making it easier for the famous person to coerce and take advantage of them due to their social status. It creates a power imbalance that just shouldn't be tolerated.

It seems there is a problem with your pov, in every relationship there is some form of imbalance someone had the other first or one has more money than the other, one is a man the other is a woman. It is whether or not that imbalance is too big that simple actions become overwhelmingly against weaker person's interest. For example, an age difference between a 20 year old and a 16 year old is an imbalance that is too grand in terms of context. I say context as a 4 year difference isn't a big deal between a 34 year old and a 38 year old.

Damn even comparing Anthony's screen presence to the original Pewdiepie video is insane. Some incredible growth from this guy, he clearly seems more comfortable on camera, and has gotten much better at being expressive/entertaining WHILE being analytical.
I remember once pewds said one of his first fights with Marzia was for some noodles (this was when they moved to Sweeden) because they were that poor back then, Marzia stayed with him through hard times when being a youtuber didnt meant you could be rich.So I understand were Felix is coming from, because when they met felix wasnt famous or had money so when you pointed the 1 million thing and him being famous he had to make you understand, their relationship never had to do with fame it was that they got along really well and make each other better

Yeah but if you don't have the right idea about things that happened in the relationship doesn't that affect his analysis? Like he thought Felix was a lot more popular than he actually was when he met marzia and that definitely affected his analysis on the relationship. Some people think the age gap between Felix and marzia is a lot bigger than it actually is which affects their opinions on the relationship so while I see where you are coming from I think when you are trying to analyze a relationship it's important to have all the facts that way your analysis makes sense. As you can see many people in this comment section are still mad at him because by not doing a simple Google search he has kinda misrepresented their relationship as a whole which is frustrating for fans of Felix and marzia to see. The same way you would be frustrated or even angry if someone who presents themselves as a professional misrepresented an important event or fact in your life and built an entire point off of that false fact that's generally widely known. I mean we aren't asking for a deep dive just you know basic knowledge of who they are and what they do.
I don't think people are hurt I think PewDiePie has an enormous fan base and his fans feel insulted by how Anthony speaks about Felix and marzia. I mean in his original video he said Felix was unattractive lol that's offensive to anybody regardless of the context. Another reason why when you are talking about hugely famous people it's important to know your facts because the Stan's and regular fans will come after you. I think as the professional he presents himself to be doing his due diligence shouldn't be something we have to ask him to do so that he doesn't misconstrue widely known facts. But again I get the appeal of him going in blind and just watching these clips from an outsiders perspective it makes sense but I think there's definitely something to be learned here there are good points on both sides

I feel like i've spent my entire life trying to fit in, trying to please others, never focusing on myself. and like not being comfortable in my own skin, feeling like i'm from a different species, like there's something wrong with me. I can just feel time slipping away, whilst i lay broken and weak, wallowing away in my own darkness. I've never tried for anything because i'm weak. I sometimes think i've got multiple personalities but just bat that shit off because that's crazy, another thing to try and blame my failures on.
I guess that isn't exactly a valid reason for giving up. I need a goal, I need determination, something i can work towards, something to live for.

I think it's always important to emphasize the point of meeting like-minded people over people who share interests. I've been to meetups or met friends of friends where we share one or two interests, but I could tell we would never get along without that mutual friend there with us or have anything to talk about or do apart from that shared interest.
On the other hand, meeting people who don't have the same exact hobbies or interests, but have been wanting to, or are more than willing to learn about it or try it out? Even if they don't end up getting into it, I find I'm more comfortable around them because they were open-minded about it.
For added context, at that time Felix’s full time job was selling hotdogs, not TH-cam. So I think the argument is that you made a big point that was irrelevant because he wasn’t famous at that time. However the overall message still stands and your other points in that video make perfect sense and is actually helpful.
